What should I wear?

Answer

This is an outdoor ceremony so, please dress for the weather. We are also having a Medieval/Fantasy attire is highly recommended.

Is the reception outside too?

Answer

The cocktail hour and reception are both in party tents. While it will be enclosed and have a patio heater, please keep the weather in mind when choosing your attire.

Can I bring my pet?

I know many love their furry friends like family. For the safety and comfort of all guests please leave pets waiting excitedly for your return home.

What is Trinket Trading?

Answer

A long standing event at the Renaissance Faire is trinket trading. This is where you being trinkets and trade them with other faire goers or shop owners. There will be a basket of trinkets (if you forget to bring yours) that you can use to join in the fun. The bride and groom have selected a special trinket. If you are the person holding this trinket at the end of the evening, they will have a special gift for you!

What is a trinket?

Answer

A trinket is a small treasure. It can be anything liken to a friendship bracelet, an old ring, a broach, pin, a marble, shiny stones, polished gems, crocheted flower or butterfly, magnets, a thimble, or anything similar. It will fit nicely in the center of your palm and is unseen when the hand is closed.

What about smoking and drinking?

Answer

Findlay State Park and Pine View Lakes are both drug free zones. Please be respectful of others and nature at Findlay State Park. There will be a designated area for cigarette and cigar smoking at Pine View Lakes. There are no drugs (legal or not) or outside alcoholic beverages permitted at either destination.
