Flight
Since we are having our wedding in the mountains, getting here is not super simple. We recommend flying into Charlotte airport, where you will need to rent a car for the 2 hour drive into Purlear, NC It is a beautiful drive. GSO is also a smaller airport about 2 hours away A Road Trip is also a fun alternative to flying! If coming from Michigan, you will drive through the mountains of West Virginia ~about a 10 hr drive (there are tolls)

My Number 1 recommendation! This place is about 5 minutes down the road from where we will be having our ceremony and reception! They do not allow room blocks so BOOK ASAP! They should be opening 9 more rooms mid-spring. Although this is a "Motel," the rooms are nice, they have a diner and convenience store on site and they are SO close to our wedding location. ~120-180/night

This hotel is about 35 minutes from our venue. It is in the city of Boone (home of Appalachian State University) I recommend staying downtown if you are not so eager about the mountain get away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The campus is beautiful to walk around. ~200-350$ a night ~complimentary breakfast and pool *call and ask for Mazer/McGough Wedding block or click the link attached

These cabins are rustic and beautiful! Surrounded by nature. About 20 minutes away from our venue. Can accommodate groups of 4-6 people. ***ONLY BOOK if your car has 4 Wheel drive*** I would recommend these as they are so beautiful for a mountain get away but the roads leading up to them are hard to access and need 4-wheel drive! *We will not be able to have shuttle service to these cabins*
