A Catholic wedding Mass is a bit longer than some other ceremonies because it includes not just the vows, but the full celebration of the Mass. For us as Catholics, the Mass is incredibly meaningful—it's when we believe the bread and wine truly become the Body and Blood of Jesus. This moment, called the Eucharist, is the heart of our faith, and receiving it is something we treasure deeply. Because of how sacred the Eucharist is to us, it's meant for those who fully believe in and live by this teaching. So during our wedding Mass, practicing Catholics who are invited to receive Communion. If you're not Catholic or not currently practicing, you're still very much part of this celebration! You’re welcome to either come forward for a blessing (just cross your arms over your chest) or stay seated and say a prayer for us if you’d like. This isn’t about excluding anyone—it’s just about honoring what the Eucharist means within our faith. Thank you so much for being here and celebrating this special moment with us!
We kindly ask that no photos be taken during Mass. We would love for all guests to be completely present and for your beautiful faces to be seen in the photos when they come out! Our hired professionals will be doing the photo-taking during this time.
