Lindsey is Sydney’s little sister, roommate and best friend but jokingly known as her life-coach. Being 15 months apart in age, they have always been close, but these past few years of living together with their dogs has created an even closer relationship between them. There is nothing quite as special as a sister and Sydney believes God has blessed her with the best one. If you are lucky enough to know Lindsey then you know the funniest, most genuine, supportive and well rounded person there is to know. Sydney is grateful that even though they will no longer live together, they will still be neighbors and cannot wait to see what this next season in life has in store for them!
Bo Galvin
Best Man
Bo is Robbie’s older brother. Bo and Robbie competed at everything growing up. Bo always won. In high school, though, they got to finally play on the same team together. Robbie played the beautiful game of soccer and Bo just wrecked any kid who fouled Robbie. When Bo went off to college to play football at Georgia Southern, he and Robbie got really close. Bo is someone who Robbie looks up to as a husband, as a father, and as a man. Bo is currently a part owner and running a Zaxby’s Restaurant down in Tampa, Florida. Bo is best known for being the husband of Haley Galvin and for being the Captain of the English Whalers Trivia Team.
Carissa Williams

Carissa is Sydney's best friend. They met in high school math class and have been inseparable since. If text messages could talk, they have easily sent a million back and forth to each other over the years. Each and every time Sydney would come home to visit during college, she would see Carissa, whether it was a five minute or two hour visit. Sydney believes everyone needs a best friend like what she has found in Carissa to travel through each phase of life with. Most of their conversations in high school were spent dreaming of what these days would look like and it has been so fun for them to watch it unfold in each others lives.
Luke Galvin

Luke is Robbie’s younger brother. Luke and Robbie were always close. Luke and Robbie even shared a room together growing up…and by choice. Several of Robbie’s friends who are currently living in Athens and working with Younglife have said that Luke and Robbie are the same person. Robbie and Luke are both super goofy and are always down for a spontaneous adventure. Luke is currently a Junior at UGA. On top of studying Clinical Phychology, Luke is a Younglife Leader at Cedar Shoals High School and a member of the UGA Accidentals Acapella Group. Luke is best known for being an Alumnus at five different colleges/universities as well as being featured on Younglife’s Instagram as a “Young Life Camp Crush.”
Miranda Apeland

Miranda and Sydney grew up together. She moved out to Utah for college a few years ago where she met her husband and where they live now as a family. She is Sydney's "long distance friend" and proves that distance cannot keep a good friendship apart! When they are able to travel and see each other their friendship does not skip a beat and they always pick up right where they left off. Sydney was able to celebrate with Miranda in Utah for her wedding and Sydney is so grateful to have Miranda traveling back to Georgia to now celebrate with her! Miranda has always been fun, energetic and so loving and Sydney has always admired that in their friendship!
Kyle Ankerich

Kyle and Robbie were acquaintances in high school. They both attended Presbyterian College for two years (Theta Chi till I die!) but at separate times. They became close friends during their time together at UGA. Robbie formed tackled Kyle in excitement after Kyle told Robbie that he had finally wooed his now wife, Natalie, and she said yes to being in a serious relationship. After college they lived together for a year in East Cobb and enjoyed their time living the suburbia lifestyle together. Kyle is a Sales Manager for Paycom Software and is currently living in St. Louis, Missouri. Kyle is best known for dressing up as a speed bump for Halloween (painting himself yellow and laying on the ground) as well as being the starting at point guard for Malcom Bridge Middle School.
Courtney Camp

Courtney and Sydney met in middle school and have remained very good friends since. Some of their favorite memories were spent cheering together. Sydney was even there to witness Courtney do a round off back hand spring on her wedding day (which Sydney has no plans of doing on hers). Sydney and Courtney have celebrated some of lifes sweetest moments together and have been there to encourage each other and cry together in some of lifes hardest times. Courtney has always shared her family with Sydney and has always made Sydney feel part of it and Sydney is so excited to now share her family with Courtney.
Adam Beckman

Adam and Robbie got to know each other when “Beckman” was coaching soccer at Oconee County High School. Beckmann introduced Robbie to real country music and burnt Robbie several cd’s when Limewire was still a thing. Adam and Robbie, both living in Atlanta, have become good friends as well as fans of one another’s soccer coaching careers. They both won State Championships in 2016 and they are both proud Founding Members of Atlanta United! Beckman was a property investment banker for BB&T for years but just recently started working for ServisFirst Bank. Beckman Beckman is best known for his motivational speaking, especially halftime speeches, as well as his huge calf muscles.
Brianna Eby

Brianna and Sydney were stuck like glue through middle school trying to survive the awkardness together. They have sense become travel and adventure buddies. Their trips span across the country from NYC to Napa Valley and San Francisco. Their most recent adventure was up to North Carolina to celebrate Brianna's marriage to her husband Will. Sydney will never forget the excitement as she Face-timed Brianna while she was in Italy on her honeymoon to tell her about her engagement to Robbie. Brianna is loyal, hardworking and adventurous and Sydney cannot wait to see what adventures and fun things still lie ahead for them!
Cobern Epting
Groomsman
Cobern and Robbie grew up together in Oconee. Though they were always friends, it was not until their junior year of high school that they became the best of friends in video broadcasting with Mr. Shaw. Robbie and Cobern had a love-hate relationship with Mr. Shaw. Robbie loved him and Cobern hated him. With the influence of Robbie, Cobern decided to play soccer his senior year of high school. The rest was history. Cobern is currently selling insurance in Sumter, South Carolina. Cobern is best known for scoring three goals in his senior high school soccer season. He claims he could have scored more but he stopped at three to honor the late Dale Earnhardt. Cobern also hates Clemson!
Haley Galvin

Haley is the sister-in-law Sydney has always wanted! She is married to Robbie's older brother Bo and made Sydney an Aunt to her sweet nephew, Bennett. Haley was the first person in the family to meet Sydney at the UGA-TN football game and was so welcoming of her! They are able to have fun together, spend family time together and share stories and laugh together when it comes to putting up with the goofy Galvin boys. What Sydney looks forward to the most is officially becoming a Galvin and creating memories with her new family and Haley!
Jeff Harrell

Jeff and Robbie were forced to be friends by their mothers who happen to be good friends. Robbie knew however, that Jeff would be a life-long friend when Jeff crashed Robbie’s middle school dance in the eighth grade (Robbie and Jeff went to rival middle schools). Jeff and Robbie have a passion for the Backstreet Boys and even formed their own Boy Band in high school called the Front Alley Guys. Jeff is currently living in Athens, Georgia and teaches and coaches soccer at Oconee County High School. Jeff is best known for loving America as well and punching Kyle Ankerich, another groomsmen, in the face when Kyle wore Robbie’s headband at the bowling alley one night in high school.
Brooke Harrell

Sydney and Brooke grew up cheering together and each year since, their friendship has seemed to grow even stronger. Some of Sydney's best memories include Brooke and all the traveling they did together through their time together with the Stingray Allstars, with both of their favorite trip being Disney World. Now that their older, they make it a point to see each other once every week or two for a lunch date, which they can both agree is never enough time spent together. Brooke has always been one of Sydney's biggest fans and listening ears in her journey to find Robbie. Sydney is so excited to finally share this sweet time in life with Brooke!
Drew Macuga

Drew attended and played soccer at Lassiter High School. Robbie and Drew have become good friends since Drew’s graduation. Drew is senior at UGA (Go Dawgs!) and is majoring in sports management and policy. Drew and Robbie share a passion for all things Atlanta Sports! They also enjoy riding around in Drew’s jeep listening to Coldplay and discussing how terrible Mohammed Sanu is. Drew is best known for leading his intramural football team to the semi-finals at UGA as well as finishing second place in his bowling class end of the semester tournament at UGA.
Melissa Patterson

Sydney and Melissa have been friends for forever. They met in Kindergarten and grew up in the same neighborhood where they were part of the Flower Power Girls Club they made up and took very seriously! They took summer vacation together, rode to school together and grew up in church together. Their friendship growing up was special, goofy and one of a kind. Once they got older, their Friday night routine included Sonic for their drive thru happy hour and then Smokey Bones for BBQ chicken nachos with Melissa's mom. Sydney will always be grateful for a lifelong friend like Melissa and know they still have many more memories to make!
Ben Stephens

Ben and Robbie grew up playing soccer together for the YMCA Sidekicks. They have been very good friends on and off the field since the age of 9. Robbie and Ben, better known as Rick and Jim, were Youtube sensations in college. They created several music videos that got thousands of views. Unfortunately, Youtube took most of their videos down because of copyrights and their fame has sense died out. Ben and Robbie most recently went on a cross-country road trip on Ben’s bus that he converted into a RV. Ben worked at the University of Georgia for six years but is currently a nomad. Ben is best known for riding his mountain bike from Mexico to Canada and for mastering the “fake kick” in order to shield a soccer ball while it is rolling out of bounds.
Kate Campbell
Flower Girl
Kate and Sydney met through Robbie where they quickly became besties. Her family is some of Sydney and Robbie's closest friends and the people that they spend most of their time doing life with. Kate and Sydney share a love for all Lassiter sports, Kate's puppy and their American Girl dolls that they like to play together. Kate was even at the pep rally for the proposal and kept it a secret from Sydney the whole time they were sitting together! When Sydney asked Kate to be the flower girl, they could not contain their excitement and started celebrating, dancing and cheering together and is one of Sydney's favorite wedding planning memories. Sydney is excited to share this day together and cannot wait to continue to watch Kate grow.
Bennett Galvin
Ring Bearer
Bennett is the first Galvin grand baby and big brother to be! He is Sydney and Robbie's godchild and has a special piece of their hearts. He lives in Tampa so Sydney and Robbie always make the most of their time together with him when they get to see him. He has mastered walking just in time to perform his ring bearer duties! Sydney and Robbie know he will be the cutest one out of the wedding party and cant wait to see him win over the hearts of all the people at the wedding. Sydney and Robbie are grateful to be aunt and uncle and hopeful to add a cousin to the Galvin bunch one day.
