We are requesting that all of our guests be vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to the wedding, per the CDC and all public health guidelines. We are closely following the evolving situation with the Delta variant and all federal and local DC recommendations to ensure everyone is safe and has a great time. There is a possibility we will need to open up the venue to make it more "outdoorsy" for air circulation purposes (meaning the reception could be a little colder than we originally planned for!)
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00, so we don't miss those Daylight Savings sunset vibes! Access to the Rooftop Terrace at the Museum will begin at 3:45 pm. The elevators to the space are managed by Museum staff and they will not let anyone up once the ceremony begins, so if you are late, you may miss it!
Early to mid-November in DC usually means fairly mild temperatures with highs in the low to mid-60s, but nights and early mornings can get down to the low 40s. The leaves will be changing and it should be quintessential fall weather, so layers are key!
Please let us know if you are celebrating in person with us by October 14, 2021!
We are going for a more formal vibe - the space almost cries out for it! One of the crown jewels of the Spy Museum's collection is the The Legendary Bond Car - the Aston Martin DB5 that James Bond drove in Goldfinger. Dress up to get some epic pictures with it! (But hey, no one is going to know if you wear tennis shoes under your dress, so please be comfortable enough to have a good time still!)
