Rocky Mountain National Park
We visited Rocky Mountain National Park in 2021 for our two year anniversary and the hiking and views were unforgettable. During June, the park will be on a reservation system so please plan ahead for entry. Here are some hikes you can look up on AllTrails: Easy Loop: Bear Lake Loop (Length: 0.7 miles, Elevation: 49 ft, Time: 15 minutes) Moderate: Emerald Lake Trail (Length: 3.2 miles, Elevation: 702 ft, Time: 1.5 hours) Hard: Sky Pond via Glacier Gorge Trail (Length: 8.6 miles, Elevation: 1,774 ft, Time: 4-5 hours but worth the views!)

If hiking isn't your jam and you still want amazing views of Colorado like Deer Mountain, Estes Park Trail Horseback Riding offers rides ranging from 2 hours to an 8 hour adventure.
Estes Park Aerial Tram
If hiking and horseback riding still isn't the right fit, try the Estes Park Aerial Tramway Top Terminal that takes you up to Prospect Mountain, where you can see Rocky Mountain National Park.

If you love shopping like us, there are plenty of stores in Estes Park. From the perfect souvenir t-shirts to handmade art to authentic cowboy boots, there is plenty to look around. Need a break in between stores? There are great restaurants and breweries to grab a bite and a drink! Elkhorn Avenue is just one of the many streets with shops. Please take some time to explore the entire town.
