When we first toured Winterthur, we fell in love with the magic of the gardens and we’d love to share that with all of our guests! During the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception you’ll get to see some of our favorite parts of Winterthur but there is so much more to see including the museum, the galleries and the rest of the grounds. **As part of our wedding, guests are granted free admission to tour Winterthur anytime over the wedding weekend. Simply call the ticketing office and mention you are attending the Krisiewicz-Jennings Wedding!**
Our hotel is located on the Wilmington Riverfront which has a long scenic walk along the river, with access to many restaurants and bars. One of the stops on the River Walk is the Constitution Yards Beer Garden which is a really cool place to hang out and grab a drink!
Longwood Gardens is another location originally developed by the du Pont family, who built Winterthur. A beautiful spot to spend a day for anyone staying the weekend.
While we don't live in Philadelphia, we love visiting. There are endless things to do, some of our favorites include: Reading Terminal Market, the Philadelphia Art Museum and Fairmount Park, the Franklin Institute, the Academy of Natural Sciences, Monster Vegan, Wonderspaces, and Spruce Street Harbor Park.
Our hometown! It's hard to put in to words how much we love Phoenixville. Kyle moved here right before the pandemic, and Syd right after. We started dating and together discovered everything the town has to offer and really feel like part of the community. It's a bit of a drive from Wilmington, but we'd always recommend visiting, even if it's not this weekend. Some of our favorites: Steel City Coffeehouse (where we first met), Bluebird Distilling, Reads & Company bookstore, Nerd Merch, Gamer's Heaven, Ravensgate, the Upstairs Studio Artists, Rebel Hill Brewing Company, Rivertown Taps, and the Colonial Theatre (which hosts Blobfest in July, an event everyone should come to at least once!)
