Cayce and Sydney met in mortuary school at Southern Illinois University in fall of 2018. They bonded over their lack of knowledge in accounting, not understanding the teacher's accent, and many boxes of nuggets and waffle fries that caused them to be late to class. The two quickly became ride or die best friends and have had many wild adventures together. Cayce is part of Sydney and Kurt's family. She is Aunt and Godmother to their daughter, Virginia.

Matt and Kurt are life-long friends going all the way back to pre-school. They bonded over snowboarding, BMX and Airsoft. They have always had each others backs regardless of the distance. Our favorite memories are snowboarding at copper mountain.

Gianna Fabiano

Gianna and Sydney met in highschool but did not become friends until their senior year in art class. Their friendship has been long distance since they went away to college. No matter how many miles apart they are, Gianna is always there to talk, show support and give advice. It's amazing how efforlessly the two can pick up right where they left off no matter how long they have gone without seeing each other.

Paul and Kurt met through Roy and quickly became friends at a karaoke night in hanger. They bonded over their passion for European sports cars and video games. They consistently had good discussions about life over different food and drinks. Paul is always there as a consistent and reliable friend who anyone would be lucky to know.

Sarah Moore

Sydney met Sarah through a facebook mom group for Cape Girardeau in January 2024. Sarah was looking for someone to watch her son, who is around Virginia's age. She ended up not needing Sydney to watch her son, but did end up becoming friends. The two go out for mom's night, consistently get the kids together for playdates, have family sleepovers during tornado weather, and much more! Sarah is a blast to hang out with. Sydney is incredibly grateful to have found such an amazing friend in town.

Tanner Moore

Tanner and Kurt met through Sydney and Tanner's wife, Sarah. The two became friends due to Sydney and Sarah convincing them to watch the kids together so the ladies could have a mom's night out. Kurt and Tanner have bonded over their love of cars and music.

Joy Mayfield

Sydney and Joy met at Shaker's in Cape Girardeau in October 2021. Both were part of the Wednesday night karaoke friend group and bonded over Fleetwood Mac, the funeral industry (Joy did makeup for the deceased in the past), and cats. Joy is one of the kindest and most genuine people Sydney knows. She is always ready to lend a helping hand whether it be helping Sydney and Kurt move, watching their daughter, or giving a free jello shot when Sydney is in need of a night out.

Roy Potter

Roy and Kurt met in college where they quickly became friends and eventually roommates. They bonded over their love for cars as well as music. Roy is the friend to call when you need someone to talk to and has always been supportive. Our favorite memories are working late at night on cars in the garage. Roy is a very important member of Sydney and Kurt's family. He is Virginia's uncle and god-father.

Claudia and Sydney met in 2021 at Shakers Bar after Sydney moved to Cape Girardeau. The two bonded over karaoke and many many shots. Since then there have been a plethora of moms go wild night in Cape, sushi dates, and other fun adventures. Claudia is one of the best people to have when you need a shoudler to cry on and be cheered up. Sydney is very grateful to have Claudia's crazy ass in her life.

TJ and Kurt met freshman year of college through mutal friends. Eventally they became roomates. They quickly bonded over cars, music and video games. TJ has always been a good friend; consistently checking in and always has Kurt's back. Some of our favorite memories are bowling and playing pool as well as long car trips up to Chicago.

Kurt and Patrick met before they were even born when their mothers had to step out of church while pregnant with them. They have always supported each other and bonded over snowboarding. They are family friends and are always quick to joke. He has been one of the most dependable friends in Kurt's life. Our favorite memories are trips together as well as Christmasses spent watching bad commedy movies.
