Sydney and Kurt met on August 31, 2019 at Pinch Penny Pub when Kurt crashed Sydney's 21st birthday party. A mutual friend invited Kurt without Sydney knowing to avoid being the only guy amongst a group of Mortuary Science girls. Kurt's first thought when he saw Sydney was "Wow, she's beautiful!". Meanwhile, Sydney was already thinking about how to keep Kurt in her life forever. Their mutual friend left shortly after Kurt arrived and Sydney was worried Kurt was also going to leave. She told Kurt that he should stay and hang out. The two spent the whole night talking about anything and everything. Later that night, Sydney ended up leaving her own party early to walk Kurt home and then walk the rest of the way to her apartment hoping that Kurt would want to hang out again. About a week later they made plans to hang out again... and again.. and again... Finally, on October 17th, 2019, Kurt officially asked Sydney out. Fast forward five years, Sydney and Kurt got married on October 17th, 2024! It makes it alot easier to remeber their anniversary.
