In October 2021, we met and immediately had a connection. On our first date, I had just finished working at the hospital, and Kevin drove to Fairfax in rush hour traffic to see me. Throughout that first date, we realized how much we had in common, including food, sports, and future goals. We ordered the same drink and wanted to order the same meal, but someone got embarrassed ordering everything identical. Guess who that was. After our first date, we became inseparable. Any free time we had, we would see each other and create new memories. Even though both of our jobs are time-demanding, we still made it work at any time of the day, especially after getting off work at 3 am and driving to each other’s house. On April 6, 2024, we bought and moved into our new house. Kevin was planning a special surprise that would change the future forever while I was distracted planning house designs. On April 7, 2024, Kevin proposed in Historic Occoquan, surrounded by our parents and siblings. It was the easiest YES, with lots of happy tears. In August, we welcomed our first furbaby, Maverick, who is excited to meet everyone at the wedding. We are filled with excitement and joy as we prepare for this incredible journey together. Our wedding day is not just about celebrating our love; it’s about joining our lives in front of our cherished family and friends. We can’t wait to dance the night away, share our vows, and embark on this beautiful adventure!
