FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with you! To make sure we have the perfect headcount for our wonderful caterers, please RSVP through this website no later than March 29th. Your timely response helps us immensely with our final planning—thank you!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! You can find all the details right here on our website. Please visit our Registry page for more information. Your presence is truly the only gift we need, but if you'd like to celebrate with something extra, we are incredibly grateful!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests arrive and be seated no later than 4:30 PM. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM, and arriving during this 30-minute window will ensure you have plenty of time to find your seat and get comfortable before we say "I do."

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our celebration is Semi-Formal. We'd love to see you in your best cocktail dresses, dressy separates, or suits! Since it's a spring wedding, beautiful seasonal colors and soft pastels are highly encouraged. Please no denim. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing white, sky blue, pink, peach, or cream, as these colors are reserved for the wedding party. To keep the aesthetic cohesive, we also suggest avoiding overly bold or flashy colors/patterns. Thank you so much for helping us coordinate our special day!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We wish we could celebrate with everyone! However, we are hosting a petite and intimate celebration, and due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate the guests explicitly named on your invitation. Thank you for respecting our guest list limitations.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be held at the same location?

Answer

Yes, both events will take place at the same beautiful venue! Our ceremony will be held outside by the Chapel, and following the ceremony, the celebration will move indoors to the Barn for the reception. Just a short and easy transition!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We want to make sure everyone has something delicious and safe to eat. If you have any allergies or serious dietary restrictions, please let Sydney or Kendall know ASAP so we can coordinate your request directly with our caterer.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is on-site parking at the venue. Guests may enter and park in the grass lot at the main entrance with the South Wind Ranch welcome sign. Guests can walk or be picked up by our golf cart. For Guests Requiring Assistance: Handicap parking will also use the service entrance to the ranch, which is the first entrance if you are coming from Travelers Rest or the third entrance if coming from HWY 25, and parking is marked just outside of the barn. There will also be a golf cart to transport anyone needing assistance directly from the main parking lot to the ceremony area. If you or someone in your party will require this service, please let Sydney or Kendall know prior to the wedding date so we can ensure everything is coordinated for your smooth arrival!

Question

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We have a fabulous photographer and designated family members capturing video, so you can relax, keep your phones tucked away, and simply enjoy the moment with us! We encourage photos and videos during the reception, and we'll provide a QR code so you can easily upload all your snaps to our shared album!

Question

What kind of food and drinks will be served?

Answer

We are excited to offer a delicious catered sit-down dinner during the reception. For beverages, we will have water and iced tea available, and we are thrilled to feature a custom dirty soda bar! Please note: Our celebration will be a dry wedding, meaning no alcohol will be served or permitted at the venue. We look forward to celebrating with you!
