The Arboretum State Botanical Garden of Kentucky
The Arboretum is a 100-acre public garden. It was recognized as Kentucky’s official botanical garden in 2000. With free admission, this is a great place to stroll and enjoy looking at some of Kenutcky's native plants. Evans Orchard and Cider Mill is a 5th generation family farm that focuses on providing great family entertainment, as well as farm fresh fruits and vegetables. The Farm Market & Gift Store was once the tobacco barn, but now offers shoppers an extensive selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh local honey, homemade jams and jellies, and, of course, fresh pressed apple cider, along with home décor and much more. Adjoining the Farm Market, the original sale shed has now been converted to the Sweet Apple Café. This contains our certified kitchen, offering guests a selection of hamburgers, hot dogs, rib-eye sandwiches, grilled chicken, fried apple pies, apple cider donuts, homemade fudge, and much more!

Keeneland Association Inc
Tradition, beauty and world-class Thoroughbreds make Keeneland racing a spectacle to behold. For more than eight decades, the best horses, owners, jockeys and trainers have converged at Keeneland each April and October to compete in "racing as it was meant to be." The Kentucky Castle
Set in a medieval-style castle on scenic grounds featuring landscaped gardens, this stately hotel with a grand hall is 5 miles from Blue Grass Airport. Raven Run Nature Sanctuary
Raven Run is a unique, 734-acre nature sanctuary dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of the Kentucky River Palisades and early Kentucky history. Free of charge, the nature sanctuary boasts over 10 miles of hiking trails provide access to streams, meadows, and woodlands characteristic of the area.
Red River Gorge
If you're looking to explore even more, the Red River Gorge is a must see in Kentucky and is about an hour away by car. This canyon system located in Daniel Boone National Forest is a popular spot for out of town tourists. It features some great walking and hiking trails as well as breathtaking views!
