When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our big day will take place on August 30th at 7 Mile Hickory Farm. The ceremony will start at 5 PM, followed by the reception. We kindly ask our guests to arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the ceremony. The address is 5862 S Branch River Rd., Romney, VV, 26757, United States

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

We would love to see all of our family and friends dressed up for our special day! Our dress code is elevated western, i.e. black tie formal with boots and bolo ties. For men, we would love it if you wore a tuxedo, or dark-colored ironed jeans and a tie (bolo-ties welcome). For women, we'd love to see you in a floor-length dress! Heels are not conducive to the grass, so boots and flats are suggested. Just as a reminder, both the ceremony and reception will be outside, so dress accordingly. We can't wait to see how amazing you all look!

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE WEDDING?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep the majority of our wedding an adults-only event. We kindly request that no children attend unless indicated on your invitation.

WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE HELD AT THE SAME LOCATION?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors at 7 Mile Hickory Farm.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking available.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES AT THE WEDDING?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that all cameras, cellphones, and other devices be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture our special day. Please feel free after the ceremony to take as many pictures as you would like.

WHERE ARE YOU REGISTERED FOR GIFTS?

We are registered at Amazon, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, and have a Cash Fund through The Knot! You can find our registry links on our wedding website under the "Registry" section. Thank you!

ARE THERE HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS NEARBY?

Answer

Romney is a smaller, quaint town, therefore lodging is limited. We suggest booking through Airbnb or VRBO. You may also stay in surrounding cities (LaVale, Cumberland, Winchester).
