What is the dress code?

Answer

Welcome Night in White Guests are encouraged to wear white for our all-white welcome celebration. The bride and groom will be wearing another fun color! Wedding Day Black Tie Attire Required Women are encouraged to wear summer colors!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and planning considerations, we are only able to accommodate guests formally listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What time should guests arrive for ceremony?

Answer

We recommend guests arrive 15–30 minutes before the ceremony begins to enjoy a glass of champagne and find their seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30PM.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Many of our wedding events will take place outdoors or partially outdoors, so please plan attire and footwear accordingly.

What shoes are recommended?

Answer

Can I take taxis/Ubers in Florence?

Answer

Taxis and private drivers are the easiest transportation options within Florence. Uber availability is limited, though Uber Black and private car services are available.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Guests may fly directly into Florence Airport (FLR) — Amerigo Vespucci Airport — or into Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), which offers the most international flight options. From Rome, guests can easily take the high-speed train to Florence. Pisa International Airport (PSA) is also an option located about one hour from Florence.

How do I get from Rome to Florence?

Answer

We recommend taking the high-speed Frecciarossa or Italo train from Rome to Florence. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours and trains run frequently throughout the day from Rome Termini Station to Florence Santa Maria Novella Station.

While we love your little ones, our wedding weekend events will be adults only unless otherwise noted on your invitation.

What currency is used in Italy?

Answer

Italy uses the Euro (€). Credit cards are widely accepted, though carrying some cash for taxis, cafés, and small purchases can be helpful. Most restaurants, hotels, and shops accept credit cards, but we recommend having a small amount of Euros on hand for convenience.

Italy uses Type C, F, and L plugs with 230V voltage. Guests traveling from the United States will need a power adapter.

Complimentary parking is available at Hotel Tenuta di Artimino for guests driving to wedding events outside the city.
