FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by June 30th so that we can have an accurate headcount for the venue and catering companies. You can RSVP on the website or contact us directly. If we have not received your RSVP by June 30th, we will assume you are not attending and will mark you down as such. We understand it is time consuming and costly to travel for a wedding, so as much as we would love you to attend and celebrate with us we also understand if you cannot make it.

Question

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

Only names that were stated on the invitation are to attend. We would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your littles, we have chosen to include only the children of immediate family in our wedding festivities.

Question

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel section of the website for possible accommodations.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Gable Hill, 56506 M-40 Marcellus, MI 49067.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive 15-30 minutes before to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available at the front of the building for all of our guests.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-Formal. Suits, sport coats, button down with a tie, slacks, jumpsuits, midi dresses, and cocktail dresses. Please no jeans, t-shirts, sweats, or any form of casual clothing. Do keep in mind that this is an August wedding and the venue does not have air conditioning, so it may be hot. However, there are fans in the building. Try to pick materials you will still be able to enjoy the day in. We want you feeling and looking your best!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love for all of our family and friends to be fully present in the moment with us, so we ask that you kindly put your phones away and on silent for an unplugged ceremony. We are more than happy for you to take photos/videos once the ceremony is over! We just ask that you do not post anything on social media before we do. There will be a digital album you will be able to access with a QR code that you can upload videos and photos to share your memories of the day.
