If the weather is nice this is a must-do. Amazing view of Seattle and in a fun area of town! Also if you've seen "10 Things I Hate About You" this is where they played paintball and pattleboated.. So there's that.
Great brewery in a neat area - within walking distance to Gas Works Park.
If you want a dive with affordable food in a fun area, visit this spot! Anthony Bourdain visited here on his travel show. Would definitely recommend the fish and chips!
The couple's favorite chocolate dessert -- a molten chocolate cake with caramel, toffee bits, and ice cream. Right across the street from an amazing ice cream shop!
If you want to experience a Farmer's Market on steroids, this is a must-see! So many vendors with all sorts of products, on a great street full of shops. Also a ton of cute dogs in attendance.
Cute Southern Restaurant/Bar in the Ballard area.
The name says it all!
One of the most iconic spots in Seattle, so if you haven't been - go check it out! Full of flowers, food, bookshops, and trinkets. Oh and a really yummy cheese shop. Stop by Beecher's if the line isn't too crazy!
Seattle’s Original Neighborhood, since 1852. Re-discover the birthplace of Seattle. Laying claim as the city's “first neighborhood", Pioneer Square is a richly historic place known for its Romanesque Revival architecture, First Thursday art walks, lively night life, delicious foodie destinations, and unique boutiques..... yeah I copied this from their website.
Seattle as we know it now was actually built above the old part of the city, and this tour takes you underground to learn about Seattle's history and progress as a city. The tour guides are entertaining, as long as you're okay with cheesy jokes and the occasional musical number.
Where the couple got engaged, this small park has a great view of the city! Surrounded by some of Seattle's most beautiful homes. Also this is the opening location of "10 Things I Hate About You", so again, there's that.
Another Seattle staple! It was recently remodeled so it's nice and new. I've heard it's best to go during the daytime for optimal viewing, but hey, its your vacation so you do you!
Fun German Beerhall/Restaurant, near the Space Needle and Chihuly Museum.
Beautiful museum full of artistic blown glass by local Dale Chihuly.
Moving on to the next stop on our tour of "10 Things I Hate About You" movie spots, there was a scene here. It's a sculpture of a troll living under a bridge with an actual VW Beetle within its grasp. If you're in the area, it's worth a looksee.
If you're a fan of Starbucks, make your pilgramage to this neat roastery and tasting room. Located on a fun street full of restaurants/bars.
If you want a rooftop bar and a cool view of the city, make a reservation at this spot! It's a little fancy but if you're okay with that, it's worth visiting!
I'm not sure why this is a thing to be honest.
Beautiful beach/park near the wedding venue!
If you love Grey's Anatomy - reenacting your favorite Grey's scene (sans McDreamy) is within your grasp by taking a short ferry ride to Bainbridge Island, accessible downtown. You can ride as a passenger or take a car on it for more exploring in Bainbridge!

Great seafood/nautical restaurant with a view! Best to have a reservation.

Nothing fancy, but it's the couple's favorite Indian restaurant!
If you want to have a unique experience in a cool area, get a reservation to this special steakhouse where they raise their cattle in a nearby island and have various cuts of beef. In the middle of Capital Hill, a fun neighborhood with lots of culture, people, and restaurants/bars.
If you're a Macklemore fan (also really?), visit this colorful, carnival-themed bar where the music video "Thrift Shop" was filmed. There's a sign that you can take a picture by that shows where he stood for the video. Talk about major street cred.
Outdoor adventurers can visit the flagship REI store! It's massive and is a fun place to peruse.
Seattle's largest green space - which has trails, beaches, and views of the Sound.
Another favorite restaurant for the couple! Not super swanky but it can get busy so you're better off with a reservation if possible. Also, their fried artichoke is out of this world.
A neat pub loved by the couple
If you like gelato, this is a great spot!
Nothing fancy, but a great ramen spot!
Fancy seafood/oyster spot well known in the city (best to get reservation). To be completely honest we've never been there because Colin is allergic to shellfish and oysters creep me out, but if it's your thing, this is the spot.
For the sushi fanatic - this guy trained under Hiro, the famous Japanese sushi man that starred in a Netflix documentary. You can get a reservation but it's pretty far in advance, but they save space for walk-ins. If you get there around 5pm (30 minutes before they open), it shouldn't be a bad wait. Not cheap sushi, but super famous.

If you're looking to for parking anywhere in downtown Seattle, this ramp has been consistently cheaper and easier to get in and out of. It's nestled right on the edge of Pioneer Square and Belltown. Very walkable to any attraction downtown.
On June 22nd & 23rd, Seattle will celebrate the summer solstice with a bike parade and fair. At 1pm on the 22nd, 22,000 people attend the parade, which is famous because riders wear only paint (keyword, only). It’s a Seattle tradition. Surrounding the parade on both days, the Fremont Solstice Festival brings together artists, restaurants, and businesses small and large. The 2 day festival is tamer than the parade, and except for around the time of the parade, we think most of our guests will find it child-appropriate.
If you like sour beers, this is your place!
This is one of the 11 Ballard breweries all within walking distance of eachother. Other ones to note: Reuben, Lagunitas, Populuxe, Obec, Lucky Envelope, Peddler, Maritime Pacific, NW Peaks, Bad Jimmy's, Hales Ales.
Fun tiki bar downtown!
