I’m Matt Foster, father of the Bride, Sydney. I never thought there could be someone in my life who would mean as much to me as Sydney’s mom….then along came Sydney. From her first day with us I knew I was in trouble. I knew I would have a difficult time saying no to those blue eyes. The joy she brought into our lives was unlike anything I had experienced. She is fearless to try new things and to push her boundaries. As she grew, her strong personality and determined attitude flourished. Then one K-State football game she said “come down to the student section, I have someone I want you to meet”. We met Chris “Kevin” Goodale that day. We have watched Sydney and Chris navigate life together over the last 3 years and I am continually impressed by their maturity and love for one another. I look forward to their wedding day, watching them start the next, most meaningful chapter in their lives……and GRANDKIDS!

Mother of the Bride
Hi, I’m Megan Foster mother of the bride, Sydney. My first born, the one who made me a Mama, my one and only baby girl and my best friend ever. She is stubborn and strong willed, with a great big heart full of love and kindness. She knows what she wants and makes a plan to get there. Chris allows her to shine. I am so excited to watch as Chris and Sydney start their new lives together as husband and wife. Where two shall become one. Walking hand in hand all the way. I have watched their love story grow over the last three years and couldn’t be more happy by what I see. They truly love one another, are there for one another, and are partners thru it all. They have made each other a better version of themselves, while still allowing each other to be who they were meant to be. I feel truly blessed that my baby girl has found her other half and the one guy who can make all of her dreams, come true. Chris is a good man and I am proud to call him son. They have all their lives ahead of them and it will truly be an honor to watch them conquer all that life throws at them as husband and wife. I love you both whole bunches!

I’m Mike Goodale and I’m the father of the groom, Chris. It seems like only yesterday I was watching Chris play sports, learn to fish and ride motorcycles and now he is embarking on a new & wonderful adventure with Sydney. Helping them move twice this year, I truly learned what a great team they make and I know they can face all of life’s challenges together. I am looking forward to Chris and Sydney getting married, graduating college as husband and wife and starting their new life together.

I’m Laura Goodale and I’m the mother of the groom, Chris. As the baby of our family, I called Chris my “littlest love” so of course he’s now the tallest of all of us. Anything to prove his mother wrong. Growing up he could be stubborn, but Chris was also a curious little guy, loved to read, and was usually busy playing and trying to keep up with his big brother, Matt. Watching him become the man he is today—kind, smart, strong, and loving—fills me with pride and joy. I am so excited seeing him with Sydney as they truly complement one another and are full of love, laughter, and partnership. I’m so excited for their future.

My name is Morgan Foster and I am Sydney's best friend and she has given me the lovely opportunity to be her maid of honor! I am a Human Development and Family Science Major at Kansas State University. Sydney and I are cousins and have known each other since I was born. Our families have always made an effort to keep all of us close and now Sydney and I actually live together! One thing that I have always loved about our relationship is that anyone that knows me knows Sydney, and vice versa. We make it known to the people around us how important of a role we have played in each others lives, and I wouldn't want it any other way. We have been mistaken for sisters several times growing up and most of the time we don't correct people because even though we aren't sisters biologically we are in each others hearts. The hardest thing about Sydney getting married is knowing that she's getting a new best friend, however I couldn't be more happy knowing that she found someone that knows her heart inside and out. I have always been a protective friend so watching her trust someone with her heart has never been easy for me, but Chris has proven over and over that he is worthy to have someone as special as her. Even though we will no longer share a last name, I like the sound of Sydney Goodale.

Hi I’m Mae, one of sydney’s bridesmaids! We met years ago and soon after experienced a tragedy that only brought us closer together. Since then she’s became more than just a friend to me, she's became my family. We’ve been through so many highs and lows together, from sleepless nights filled with laughter to the tough moments that only true friends stick around for. Watching her fall in love with someone who truly sees her, values her, and makes her shine even brighter has been the greatest joy. Syd,I love you so much. I’m beyond happy for you and feel so honored to be standing by your side on one of the biggest days of your life. You’ve found someone incredible, and I know the two of you are going to build such a beautiful life together. You truly deserve all the happiness in the world—and then some. Cheers to you both.

My name is Sarah Shipley, and I’m honored to stand by Sydney’s side as a bridesmaid. Sydney and I are the same age, and while it feels like we’ve known each other forever, our friendship truly began back in sixth grade when we both tried out for cheer. From then on, she wasn’t just a friend, she was my ride or die. If you spend time around us, you’ll quickly see why people call us “Dumb and Dumber.” Together, we’ve made countless memories including middle school cheer, competitive teams, and four years of varsity. Some of my favorites weren’t at competitions, but from our little traditions like sleepovers before pep assemblies, Sydney doing my hair and makeup, or our crazy Starbucks runs before first hour. Another favorite memory was going shopping with our moms, who are just as close as we are. Those trips were full of laughter and way too much money spent, and I know now as a bride, they’ll be even more special. What I love most about Sydney is her selflessness and the way she makes everyone feel loved. She has been a light in every season of life, and I’m so grateful for her. Then came Chris, who is hilarious, kind, and the perfect match for Sydney. Watching them fall in love has been beautiful, and I couldn’t imagine a better person for her. Sydney, we’ve dreamed of this day since we were 11, and now it’s here. I’m so happy for you both. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Goodale, I love you guys, now let’s get you married!

Hi I’m Emma! Sydney and I met during my sophomore year and her freshman year while living in the same dorms, and we clicked instantly. We joined the same sorority, shared the same interests, and from the start, I felt like I had met my copy and paste. We've done so much together—laughed, cried, grown—and in such a short amount of time, we've seen so much of each other. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who mirrors me more than Syd. Even after I moved back to Kansas City for nursing school, our bond never changed. We could go months without talking and still pick up exactly where we left off. I’m now in my final year of nursing school at the University of Kansas Medical Center and hope to become an emergency nurse after graduation. In my free time, I love working out, walking in nature, hanging out with friends, and crafting. I’m beyond excited for this wedding—not just because Sydney is my best friend, but because Chris is too. Seeing the two of them so happy together is everything, and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful things their future holds.

I am one of Sydney's bridesmaids, as well as one of her cousins. I am also the sister of the maid of honor. Growing up our families always kept all of us close. All 6 of us cousins would always hang out and have fun together. Sydney, being the oldest cousin out of all of us, was a natural leader. I have always looked up to her and wanted to be like her. She is gorgeous, smart, funny, and talented. My aunt Meggie, Sydney's mom, told me once that when Sydney was younger she looked a lot like me. Ever since then I wished to grow up to be at least half as pretty as she is. Chris is amazing to Sydney and they are so cute together. I'm sad we won't be sharing the same last name anymore but Sydney Goodale sounds pretty good too.

Hey there! I’m Braxton, one of Syd’s cousins-in-law, and I am so excited for her big day. I’ve known Sydney since 2023 when I met Logan, who is now my husband. From the start, Syd has always made me feel welcomed, loved, appreciated, and heard. That kind of genuine care feels rare, and it is something I am truly thankful for. She doesn’t treat me like family just because she has to, but because she truly wants to, and that means so much to me. Syd is authentic, kind, generous, compassionate, and empathetic. She is the kind of person who makes everyone around her feel valued, and that is one of the many things that makes her such an amazing friend. I’ve loved getting to know her more through random weekends together, the Fourth of July, Black Friday shopping, and everything in between. Syd is thoughtful and caring in every setting, and I know she is someone I could always call and count on. I can’t wait to see the wife she becomes and all she accomplishes in grad school. It is so clear how much Chris loves and cares for her, and I have no doubt they have something truly special. I’m so excited to watch the life they build together.

I’m Matt Goodale and I’m the Best Man and the brother of the groom, Chris. Ever since I can remember Chris has always been a little rascal and occasionally a thorn in my side. However, as the years passed and our brotherly bond grew, I constantly sought his companionship, trust, and his laughter. The past few years Chris has matured into the best version of himself with Sydney. Watching him grow up and take this monumental step in life makes me proud to call Chris my brother and Sydney my sister.

Chris and I met as freshman year roommates, and we clicked almost instantly mostly because we both lived for motorcycles. From spontaneous cruises around town to late nights hanging out in our dorm, we built a friendship that has stuck with me ever since. Those early days were full of good laughs, shared adventures, and the kind of brotherhood that just happens naturally. I’m grateful to have been part of his journey from the start, and even more grateful to stand by his side today as he marries Sydney. Here’s to a lifetime of love and new adventures for them both.

Hi i’m Dalton. Chris and I have only been friends for a couple of years, but we hit it off fast. He’s my wife’s best friend’s fiancé, so we were basically pushed into friendship by the people we love and honestly, it worked out great. One of my proudest contributions to his life so far was taking his casino virginity. Since then, we’ve had a lot of laughs, fun nights, and stories that probably only we think are funny. I’m really happy to be part of his wedding day and to celebrate him and the awesome person he’s marrying. I love you both and wish you nothing but the best.

I am Connor Cline. I have known Sydney since we were kids, and through her I’ve gotten to know Chris - someone who is thoughtful, dependable, and genuinely good to the people around him. Seeing the way he cares for Sydney, and the way they balance and lift each other up, has been incredibly special. With my girlfriend Sarah being one of Sydney’s closest friends, we’ve seen firsthand what a solid and loving partnership they share. I’m grateful to be able to stand beside them and celebrate their marriage.

My name is Mason foster and I am the brides brother and one of the groomsmen. Throughout my whole life Sydney has been one of my biggest influences. Whether that has been with clothes, music taste, sayings, opinions, and even my actions (basically my whole personality.) I feel at every crucial point in my childhood she encouraged me to do the right thing. She molded me into a tolerable person and for that I cannot even begin to express the amount of gratitude I have for her. In my mind no man is truly ever going to be good enough for her but I guess Chris is pretty close. In the few years that I have known him I have noticed that their personalities blend very well together. His playful and brutally honest mindset goes will with her type A and kind nature. I know that they will do wonderful things together and I can’t wait to see them flourish. I just hope Chris isn’t a sore loser because he will have to spend the rest of his life losing at pickle ball and ping pong.

Hi I’m Jack, Sydney’s oldest younger brother. I work on our family’s farm with my mom’s dad, her brother and my cousin. I’m so glad that I get to apart of Syd and Kevin’s (Chris) special day. Sydney and I have always been close, even though she always bossed me around I still love her, even though I always fought back. It’s always been hard watching Syd date guys because I wanted her to be treated right, but I’ve never had to worry about that with Chris because he’s always treated her right since day one. I’m glad I’ll get to call him my brother one day.
