May 3rd-11th Tulip time is a yearly festival held in downtown Holland, MI that celebrates dutch heritage. The festival has been held for 94 years that showcases millions of tulips that are in bloom throughout downtown Holland as well as other attractions and activities.

Explore the Dutch history of Holland, MI and see the historic De Zwaan windmill as well as the 36 acres of exhibits, gardens, and natural areas.

Holland State Park

Hollands most popular beach. You can see the big red lighthouse on the pier or watch the boats coming in and out of the channel. You can take a walk along the lake shore or sit in the sand. There are multiple walking paths into and around the park as well as a local ice cream joint, The General Store, just down the road. A great place to explore and hang out for the day.

A family friendly park with beach access through an iconic tunnel in the sand dune. There a multiple playgrounds and a large sand dune to climb. You can also walk along the beach and have a beautiful view of Lake Michigan from the top of the sand dune.

Climb the 302 steps that bring you to the summit of Mount Baldhead and view Saugatuck, Douglas, and Lake Michigan. Discover it best by riding across the Kalamazoo River on a hand-pulled chain ferry from the town of Saugatuck.
