The building and gardens are beautiful. We definitely recommend taking a tour if you have time!
There are tons of beautiful hikes and scenic overlooks along the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you are looking for some fresh air and gorgeous views, we highly recommend. Please be wary of wildlife - we saw a bear on one of our hikes!
Asheville is home to dozens of excellent breweries, including Highland Brewing, Wicked Weed, Hi-Wire, and Asheville Brewing Companies. One of our favorite activities in Asheville is to walk around and sample flights from the different breweries.
We love a good cider. If you also love cider or are looking to try something new, give this place a try. Our favorites are the Bone Dry Standard and the Standard Bearer.
We spent hours playing a wide range of classic pinball and arcade games! It costs $17 per person to play, and you can play as long as you like for the entire day.
Take some time to walk around downtown Asheville. There is a wide variety of galleries, artisan shops, boutiques, and restaurants to explore.
This is a short drive from Asheville, but it is definitely worth it! We discovered this vineyard on our last trip to Asheville, and we had a blast! They were extremely friendly, and they clearly had a passion for their wines. Also, the wines were delicious!
