IS THIS A DESTINATION WEDDING?

Answer

Yes! Think of it as a domestic destination wedding... We have reserved this beautiful 70-acre property exclusively for our wedding guests from Sunday evening to Wednesday morning. All events and meals will occur on the estate.

I RSVP'D YES - NOW WHAT?

Answer

Once you have RSVP'd here on our website, head to hawkesdene.com/guest-payments, select “Sydney & Brandon” in the “name of couple or group" drop-down. Pay a one-time flat fee per person of $400.00 (ie, $800 per couple, and so on) with children 8 years old & under excluded. Your payment will confirm your reservation and cover the entirety of your three night stay, including luxury private accommodations for the weekend (with kitchenettes and laundry machines), meals beginning the evening you arrive through the morning you leave, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and access to a 24/7 snack bar. There are individual cottages of various sizes throughout the property. Upon your reservation, you and your party will be assigned to a special cottage chosen specifically for you based on party size, family & friend groups. Lodging assignment will be provided upon your arrival by the staff at Hawkesdene.

WHY A THREE-NIGHT STAY?

Answer

It is not often we get to bring the most important people from all aspects of our lives together onto one property for an extended celebration. We're thinking of this as a winter vacation, a reunion, a wedding, and an iconic new years eve celebration all rolled into one. Regretfully, we cannot reduce the flat rate fee for guests that are only able to join us for a portion of our stay. However, you can certainly reserve your own accommodations off-site and join us on the estate for each day's activities and for meals for a fee. The fee is $12 per person per breakfast or lunch, and $79 per dinner (not including the wedding reception meal, which is of course covered by Brandon & Sydney!).

WHERE WILL I STAY ON SITE?

Answer

There are individual cottages of various sizes throughout the property. Upon your reservation, you and your party will be assigned to a special cottage chosen specifically for you based on group size and friend/family groups. The Hawkesdene staff will give your lodging assignment upon arrival at the Main House. We’ve spent many hours thoughtfully arranging family and friend groups together. Rest assured you will know the people you’ve been assigned with. For more information on accommodations, please see the "Venue" tab!

WHAT WILL OUR MEALS INCLUDE?

Answer

Your meals will include farm-to-table breakfast, lunch, dinner and unlimited snacks. There is also a fully functioning kitchen and fridge provided for each accommodation. There will be vegetarian options available at each meal. Please let us know if you have any other dietary restrictions or allergies and we can pass that along to the estate's kitchen, who are more than happy to accommodate!

ARE CHILDREN AND FURRY FRIENDS WELCOME?

We welcome all the little ones in our lives to join us in this celebration - babies and furry friends alike! We ask that you please use discretion in bringing well-behaved animals, only, as there will be young children, other animals, and loud noises. Contact Sydney or Brandon if you'd like suggestions for local babysitters and childcare.

WHAT TO PACK?

· Yoga mat - we have a special guest leading a creekside yoga session on our Wedding morning. · Bluetooth speaker - to blast tunes at your cabin · Board Games & books to enjoy in the cozy nooks throughout the property · Outerwear - keep an eye on the weather forecast leading up to our big day! · Lounge clothes for slow mornings and cozying up by the firepits · Mild hiking / athletic wear - there may or may not be a secret waterfall on the property.. · Wedding attire - refer to the "Schedule + Menus" tab above & our wedding invitations for attire details · Sunscreen · Hydration packs - you know who you are! · Earplugs - we've got live performances and a firework show planned throughout the weekend, so keep these handy as needed! · Pack for your pet if you are bringing your furry friend (well-behaved pups, only please!)

WEATHER?

Answer

Weather in previous years has been highs in the mid-50's and lows in the mid-30's. Brandon & Sydney stayed at the venue December of 2023 and were comfortable in jeans and a jean jacket in the day, and an additional layer at night. There is central heating in all of the lodging, as well as fire pits throughout the estate for gatherings. Multiple festivities will be outdoors, weather permitting, but space heaters and tents will be provided as necessary. Prepare to bundle up and enjoy winter in the mountains, and keep an eye on the forecast leading up to the event!

SHOULD I PACK ALCOHOL?

Answer

Brandon and Sydney will provide an assortment of liquor, wine, and beer at our meals. With that being said, there are several breweries and package stores close to the estate, and accommodations include kitchens!
