Syd and Em have been friends since 2014 thanks to Cor Jesu basketball introducing them! Although they didn't hit it off right away, they eventually bonded over coping mechanisms to get through the long season, one of their shared favorite TV shows, Castle, and suffering through shin splints. Emily and Ben met a year after Syd and Ben started dating and quickly bonded over their love for teasing Sydney and all things sports and STL related. There is no one else Syd and Ben could imagine marrying them, and Emily is always ready to entertain!
Baleigh Fry

ADPi brought Baleigh and Sydney together in 2018 and since then they have been inseparable! At K-State, they found ways to hang out on campus by being K-State Proud Co-Chairs, being on StuFo exec, and being on ADPi exec during COVID. Off campus, they could be found enjoying buckets at Kites, the secret menu at Taco Lucha, or yelling in the student section at K-State basketball games. Now, they are miles apart but still make the most of every moment they get to hang out together!
Peter Holtmann
Best Man
Peter and Ben first met in 2017 at Missouri S&T through their fraternity, Phi Kapps. They quickly became fast friends that bonded over playing soccer and working crazy hours together in New Student Programs at Missouri S&T. They lived together from their first semester at college until (finally) both graduated with Masters' degrees. Peter has been someone Ben can always depend on for advice or a laugh and has been his best friend for many years.
Ella Bahr

Ella and Sydney became friends thanks to K-State and to ADPi during freshman year. They joined many of the same organizations in the first few months of school, and they quickly became friends! Ella took Sydney (and Baleigh) all around the best spots in MHK, and they always found something new to get involved in whether it was ADPi exec, SAB, or all working at New Student Services together. Post-grad, they always find time to catch up over the latest read, the newest foodie spot, or the best travel destination!
Jake Rule

Jake is one of Ben's older brothers and has been someone he enjoys spending time with for many years. Despite not being as much of a baseball fan as Jake, Ben still likes to hang out and watch sports with his brother and dog, Balto. Jake also coaches high school baseball and both Ben and Sydney are often seen watching the Vista Peak baseball team from behind home plate. Sydney and Ben frequently get to hang out with Jake and his wife Sasha since they live nearby in Denver!
Liz Alley

K-State ADPi is to thank for bringing Liz into Syd's life. Liz had been enjoying K-State for a year when Sydney started in 2018, and they quickly figured out they both grew up in wildcat-loyal households and attended almost every football and basketball game together. Since then, the two have continued to tailgate together but have also prioritized other things like bookclub, hiking, lunch/coffee dates, sharing new recipes, and more!
Jack Henry

Jack is Sydney's brother, and someone who Ben likes to play board games and joke around with. He can always be depended on to help Sydney and Ben move, and to speed past them down the mountain when skiing! They both really enjoy hanging out during the holidays and playing with the Henry family dogs Dewey and Kona. Jack and Ben both like to play board games like Ticket to Ride and Wingspan, and enjoy beating Sydney in them!
Emily Corredor

Sydney and Emily met on the first day of move-in at K-State and survived sorority recruitment together! They lived in neighboring dorms and met because Syd's roommate was one of Emily's high school best friends. They originally bonded over having the same major - Emily did end up a doctor whild Syd ended up changing her major 4 more times. Despite that, the whole Armbrust family quickly became Syd's family away from home, and she found a friend for life!
Pete Rule

Pete is Ben's younger brother and has been someone who has been involved in many moments in Ben's life. From sharing a room to playing video games and sending memes back and forth, Ben and Pete are consistently goofing off together. They are often seen together teasing the family cat, Ophelia, and making their parents laugh. Pete always has jokes and can always be depended on to make someone laugh in any situation!
