It's probably our favorite Austin restaurant, which is really hard to accomplish. We recommend ordering their Seafood Pho - item 33C! We went here right before we got engaged!
Since it's Christmastime, the Trail of Lights should be in full swing! It's a walking light show path! During the year, this is where Austin City Limits Music Festiva is, it's an off-leash dog park, a sports area, etc. It's one of the most memorable places in Austin and is the center of so many great memories from my high school and undergrad experience.
In the evenings, during Christmastime, they have really a beautiful light show and concerts. It's a great place to get a pastry and what Braxton calls "insight juice"!
The best burritos in the world. You can mix and match the type of tortilla you get!
Our favorite thing to order is the Mac and Cheese and Pulled Pork taco. It NEVER disappoints.
The pool itself is fed from an underground spring and is the native home to the endangered Barton Springs Salamander. The temperature of the water is consistently between 68 and 70 degrees year-round!
If you like a good thrift find, Buffalo Exchange is the place to be. There are also tons of vintage clothing stores and Cabo Bobs is nearby as well!
This is where we got engaged! It overlooks Lake Austin, Pennybacker Bridge, and the Austin Country Club golf course.
If you aren't from Texas, and you are interested in learning why you hear people call themselves Proud Texans, the Bob Bullock Museum will give you tremendous insight!
When people think of Austin, they mostly think of tacos and musicians, but Austin has a deep love for our nocturnal friends, the Mexican Free-Tailed Bats. The best time to witness the bats is around sunset, and it could be anywhere from 7:30-9:45 pm. People line up for this! It's totally weird, but that's what Austin does best!
