Mabel Johnson became “bosom friends” with Audrey in 2010, when headphones still had wires and Heine Brothers still served brownies covered in powdered sugar. After years of struggling to make friends at her previous schools, Mabel found Audrey, who embraced her creativity and big dreams. Audrey not only had Anne Shirley’s red hair but gave freely the steadfast love of Anne’s best friend, Diana — Mabel could not have found a better friend to stand beside her through thick and thin. She has since completed two degrees summa cum laude at Loyola University Chicago and lives in Los Angeles with her partner, Lars. She eagerly awaits the chance this summer to give back the loving support that Audrey puts out into the world!
