The wedding ceremony and reception will both be at the Happy Apples Orchard at 15972 State Highway 47, Marthasville, MO 63357. The property is owned and maintained by Ted's parents and it's where they grow, harvest, and processes the apples used in their caramel apple operation, Happy Apples. They have graciously allowed us to use their space as a venue for our big day. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour. We will then move into the warehouse for the reception.
The ceremony and reception will be semi-formal. Long dresses and suits are encouraged. Absolutely no jeans or sneakers please. The outdoor portion will have gravel walkways, so please consider a sensible shoe choice.
We welcome your RSVP as soon as possible. If your response has not been received by March 25 we cannot guarantee a place will be held for you.
We kindly ask that the ceremony be a no-phone zone. We will be leaving the photography to the professionals. Pictures will be welcome and encouraged for the remainder of the evening.
If your invitation is addressed to you and your guest's name you are both invited and welcome. We have not accommodated for additional guests.
We hope you understand that children are only invited if named. If your children have been included the invitation will state that your family is invited, and then be sure to RSVP your individual children's names here on the website.
The orchard has some parking on site (signs will direct you), but the majority of the parking will be at the valet lot held at Warren County Electric, located just across the street. Type the orchard address (15972 State Highway 47, Marthasville MO 63357) into your GPS, follow those instructions, and you'll see signs directing you where to park with plenty of people available to help. Hop on one of the shuttles and you'll be escorted to the ceremony by one of our lovely ushers/valets.
Yes, please specify any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. We will need a head count for any vegan/vegetarian meals that need to be provided.
