Daniel K. Inouye Honolulu International Airport.
Hawaii weather in September offers pleasant temperatures between 73 and 89 degrees Fahrenheit. Trade winds from the northeast somewhat calm the high humidity. Bring a light jacket, just in case, but don't forget your swimsuit, shorts, and your slippers (what Hawaiians call flip-flops).
You will be missed! We understand not being able to make it due to distance, money or childcare. We are certain you will see plenty of pictures! Please RSVP 'no' on our website, and contact Kasey or Marshall and let one of them know.
Please RVSP by August 12th.
We are registered at Amazon and Target. You can find our registry on this website. Your presence is enough at the wedding, but we appreciate all gifts as we take this next step in our life!
Cafe Julia is located roughly 3.5 miles away from the Waikiki area, and can be easily reached via Uber or Lyft. Metered street parking may be available around Iolani Palace. The parking garage at Ali'i Place, located at 1099 Alakea Street, is also recommended. The weekend rate is three dollars.
Please plan on arriving at least fifteen minutes before the ceremony starts at 4pm. This will give you time to sign the guestbook, find your seat, and say hello to the other guests. Any guests that arrive after the ceremony starts will be asked to wait outside, as to not interrupt.
We would love to celebrate with everyone and anyone! Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your wedding invite. It will also pop up when you RSVP on the website.
You know we love kids- especially Kasey, and especially your kids. However, for our wedding day, please only bring those who have been named on your invitation. We're looking forward to a super fun dance floor!
Of course! This is Kasey and Marshall we're talking about. There will be wine, beer, and signature drinks. Cafe Julia does request that we do not bring any additional alcohol on to the premises, so please be mindful of this.
Absolutely! Please contact the bride or the groom and let us know. If you RSVP online, there is also a place to note any food allergies. We want to make sure everyone has a safe, fun time!
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. The dress code is 'aloha formal'. For men, this means aloha shirts or button down shirts, pants (no jeans), and your nicest slippers or shoes. For ladies, this means a nice dress or blouse with skirt, and heels (don't worry, there's no grass), slippers or flats. The bride requests no jeans, shorts, sneakers or wearing of white on our special day. If you need to wear anything (slippers, jeans, etc) for an accessibility reason, there is no judgement.
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the Bride: whites, ivories and creams.
You can e-mail us at k.mschroederwedding@gmail.com. We're also only just a call or a text away and always ready to help!
