May 2, 2020, while vacationing in Saint Simons Island, GA, we ventured to the beach to enjoy the evening weather and approaching sunset. With the ring in Josh’s pocket and Lauren (Abby’s sister) ready to give the signal, we stopped to take a photo just as the sun disappeared below the horizon. 

A few moments later it happened; Lauren gave Josh the signal that she was ready to capture the moment on video. As Josh turned and took a knee, looking up at Abby’s eyes, she collapsed into his arms with shock and disbelief. Barely able to speak Abby said yes. 

A simple response to an unexpected event, during an unexpected vacation changed our lives for the better and we can’t wait to see what else is in store along this incredible journey.
