Matron of Honor
Lizzi and I have been best friends since we were 12 years old. When my family moved to Texas, the neighborhood we bought our house in was where her family lived. Her mom brought us brownies one day to welcome us and our moms kind of forced us to meet (we were both reluctant haha). Ever since, we've been writing fan fiction, fangirling over Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Pirates of the Caribbean, successfully survived all 4 years of college as roomies, and have taken so many fun trips together! I couldn't imagine not having her by my side on my big day!
Bridesmaid
I met Rachel at a writing institute for LeanderISD one summer. She was all dolled up in this adorable green jumper and heels and was excited to show off her new engagement ring. I immediately thought she was so beautiful and fun, but also (wrongly) assumed she would be stuck up. Turns out, Rach is a huge nerd and weirdo, so we became fast friends! I actually ended up doing her wedding invitation calligraphy that year, and the year after that she joined the faculty at Vandegrift HS where I work. We have been thick as thieves ever since, and I am so excited to have her with me on this momentous day!
Bridesmaid
Jordahn is Jarrett’s oldest sister who lives and goes to college in Arkansas. As such, we’ve gotten to hang out during the special holidays she’s come back to town, and it’s always such a treat to see her! Just like the rest of the family, Jordahn is such a kind and giving person, and I am so happy to have her by my side on this special day!
Bridesmaid
Jae is Jarrett’s middle sister, and although I haven’t gotten the chance to spend a ton of one-on-one time with her, I feel as though we still have a solid relationship built on mutual laughs and college applications (I helped her out when she was applying to ACC!) ☺️ She is a kind-hearted and funny gal, and I am so thrilled to have her as a bridesmaid!
Bridesmaid
Jazzy is Jarrett’s youngest sister and honestly reminds me a lot of him! I’ve gotten to spend some good quality time with her over the years since she’s still in high school, and she is such a gem. Truly a kind and generous soul! I am so excited to have her by my side!
Bridesmaid
Devin is my brother Josh’s fiancé! I have only known her a short time, but she’s one of those people who makes you feel like you’ve known them forever. She also has the best “surprised” face I’ve ever seen, and such an infectious joy that you can’t help but smile at. I am so excited to have her with me on my wedding day!
Best Man
I met Collin in high school when he moved from Round Rock his freshman year. His football locker ended up being right next to mine, and throughout our high school football years, we both went to a lot of the same camps and such. Then, we both went to the Air Force Academy for football. He didn't stay as long as I did, but he would come in and out of Colorado and I would go back home to visit, so we saw each other pretty often. Now, he's my roomie! He is definitely someone I consider a brother, so I am excited to have him stand by me on this special day.
Groomsman
I met Hardy through church in 7th grade. He is one of my oldest friends and I've known him and his family for more than half of my life. We grew up together, and he is the closest thing I've ever had to a brother. We always have fun together, whether it's playing video games or just talking. When it came time to propose to Becca, I knew I had to call his wife, Amanda, to be our secret photographer. He's always been there for me, and I'm so happy he will be again on my wedding day.
Groomsman
I met Corey my freshman year at the Air Force Academy. He was in my squadron, but a year above me, so we could not be "friends" until the end of the year per Academy rules. The following year we grew very close, up until I had to leave due to my second shoulder injury. I returned to the Academy to restart my sophomore year at the beginning of Corey's senior year, and we reconnected then. We got extremely close that year due to both getting in trouble (whoops). We helped each other through a lot of highs and lows, and he and his family hold a special place in my heart. Very excited to have him standing with me as I start this new adventure with Becca!
Groomsman
I met Dane at the Air Force Academy when we both started playing Rugby. As new team members, we became fast friends. Throughout my whole experience at the Academy, he was one of my closest friends and has been like a brother to me. He has helped me through some of my toughest times, especially while recovering from my autoimmune disease a few years ago. Both he and his wife, Schaeffer, are accomplished C-17 pilots in Charleston now. I am so excited to have him stand up with me on this special day!
Groomsman
Josh is Becca's older brother. He has been a spiritual role model for me since meeting Becca, and he has a quiet strength that I admire. We have bonded over beer and football, but have grown closer over the last few years. I am thankful to have him as a brother-in-law and a brother in Christ!
Groomsman
Josh is one of my oldest friends; I've known him since sixth grade. We were always in football and FCA together, but then became even better friends when we roomed together at Texas State. I am proud to have him standing with me on our special day, and I wouldn't be able to celebrate properly without the life of the party!
