Boat to Isla Mujeres from Cancun

The Gran Puerto Cancun (Ultramar) ferry dock is located in Puerto Juarez, a few minutes from downtown Cancun. The boats leave every half hour from 5:00 am until 9:30 pm and every hour after that. The crossing takes about 15 minutes.

Cancun International Airport (CUN)

Cancun has an international airport with good connections to the world. The airport is located a distance outside of the city, it is helpful to pre-book your transfer from the airport to your accommodation of choice, many hotels will include the transfer to and from the airport. Note that the wedding is in Isla Mujeres which is an island accessible by ferry from Cancun (see Boat to Isla Mujeres from Cancun)

There are plenty of Airbnb options that you can book for your stay at Isla Mujeres. We suggest staying close to downtown (centro) of Isla Mujeres which is close to ferries and shops. However the island isn't that big so you can choose to stay wherever suits you.

Taxi is probably the easiest way to move between the centre or the island and the venue, Taxis are easy to find around the island or next to the ferry terminal and they were priced and safe.
