Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We recommend that you book an airbnb in the city centre of Isla Mujeres or closer to the wedding spot, see location on the schedule page. Booking.com and Expedia.com have also had good deals for hotels and accommodation in isla mujeres.

How do I get from Isla Mujeres city centre to the ceremony?

The best way is to take an island Taxis, address is: Casa de la Playa Carretera Sac Bajo, SM1 M7 74 Lote 17 Fracc. Laguna Mar Isla Mujeres, Q.R. 77400 Mexico

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

YES! We're hoping to spend as much time as possible with all of you and have planned a few events leading up to and after the wedding (see schedule)! It would be great to see you there but we also understand and encourage you to go off and explore other parts of mexico during your trip. See our recommendations under ' Things to do'.

How long should I stay in Isla Mujeres?

Answer

Isla Mujeres is a nice little island with plenty to do, snorkeling, turtle farm, beautiful beaches, boat trips and nice cafes and restaurants. You can easily spend anywhere from 3 days to a week on the island. We're planning to stay on the island from 1/6/2020 and for a few days after the wedding and are hoping to hang out as much as possible with you all.

What about speeches?

Answer

In Sweden it's a bit of a tradition that anyone can hold a speech, tell a fun memory or story etc. to the wedding couple. If you feel like sharing something during our wedding there will be an opportunity for speeches during the dinner. Please keep it short, sweet and fun 😉 to leave more time for other important things like dancing and dessert 😄! If you want to hold a speech or say something short, keep an eye out on this page. We'll update with more details closer to the date.
