We spent our late 20s & early 30s doggy paddling in the deep end of the dating apps pool. In early 2019, we were going to the same gym and, while we never spoke in person, we matched on a dating app that requires the woman to send the first message. Unfortunately, Julia neglected to initiate the conversation and the match expired. After that our cross-gym eye flirting came with some edginess and a sense of uncertainty. A few months later we matched on a different dating app and Andrew initiated conversation, probably with some dumb comment. We went on our first date in late 2019 and have been inseparable ever since. Throughout 2020 we spent a lot of time together and our relationship blossomed over endless weeks of quarantine, adventures around Colorado, and trips to both coasts. In November 2021 we moved to Central America and spent 3 months in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua and another 3 months in Grecia, Costa Rica. We fell in love with San Juan and plan to move back there at some point in the near future, but now that our wedding is only a couple months away - and before we get too caught up in future plans - we are thrilled to ink another chapter in our relationship and look forward to spending our wedding weekend with loved ones.
