Will I Need a Car?

Answer

If you plan to do a lot of activities while here, it may make sense to have a car. You can rent a car directly from the airport. If you do not wish to use a car, Uber and Lyft are also available. Additionally, there will be shuttles taking guests from their hotels to the wedding venue and back after the reception/after party.

Will there be shuttles to and from the Wedding? To and from the Welcome Party?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttles from the 3 hotels where we've reserved room blocks to the wedding. Following the reception, shuttles will return guests to their hotels or to the afterparty. A final shuttle will bring guests from the afterparty to their hotels at 12:30am. Cancelling Friday Events Due to Weather

Answer

Due to the wind and rain forecast for Friday, there is a chance certain bridges will be closed and make it impossible to get to the Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party. Out of an abundance of caution, we will be cancelling those events and focusing all of our energy on Saturday!! We’re sorry for the late change, but believe the safety of everyone is very important.

Travel Issues?

Answer

The effects of Ian are expected to be felt in Charleston late Thursday and Friday. If your flight is cancelled or delayed, we recommend you let your airline reschedule your flight. If you cannot get in until Saturday and need to cancel your hotel room for one night, we ask you to contact your hotel directly. We are very hopeful everyone can still get in and be ready to party late Friday or early Saturday!
