On the first day of a very exciting internship, at everyone's favorite home improvement store, Jordan and Anna met in a conference room and noticed each other's smiles right away. After many lunches and events together, they developed a great friendship and loved spending time together no matter what they were doing. After the summer, Jordan moved down to Atlanta, opening up the friendship to become more. Since then, they have been able to build their relationship on respect, love, admiration, and most importantly their love for Mr. Frankie!
Jordan got down on one knee and popped the question in Chastain Park – a beautiful park right behind our apartment where we like to go jogging, play tennis, golf, attend concerts, or walk our little Frankie. Jordan was incredibly nervous leading up to the proposal day. He worked with Anna’s friend to convince Anna that there was a brunch reservation at the Chastain restaurant with friends, so that Anna would get all dressed up and ready for pictures! He also worked with Anna’s sister and her sister’s boyfriend, Amelia and Evan, to scout out the perfect place to capture the big moment on camera – near a pond right behind the Chastain amphitheater that we walk Frankie around often. The morning started off cloudy and there was a chance of rain in the forecast. Jordan looked to a picture of his dad on his desk and said a prayer to him asking for a little sunshine an hour before the proposal. We don’t know what kind of deal Joe brokered with Mother Nature, but he delivered in the clutch! The sun began to shine through the clouds and the rain held off. Now all Jordan had to do was get Anna to the spot that he, Amelia, and Evan had picked out. The spot was marked with some sticks formed in the shape of an ‘X’. Once we got to the spot, Jordan stalled, and Anna started to get anxious because she thought we were going to be late for brunch. The reason Jordan came up for stalling was so absurd that Anna started to get suspicious. Jordan had to come clean – he told Anna there was no brunch reservation at the restaurant, but he did love her and had a very important question to ask her…when Jordan asked Anna to marry him, she said “OF COURSE! OOH THAT RING IS SO PRETTY!”
