FAQs

Question

What is the current status on your shower (date & time)?

Answer

CANCELLED

Question

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will be outside in the grass. Don't worry we are not downhill.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes open bar of course. No shots sorry. We hope you tip our bartenders!

Question

Is this a farm wedding?

Answer

No. While we work on our vegetable farm, we will be on our church property but still outside. There will be no animals with the exception of the pork being cooked.

Question

Is this a religious wedding?

Answer

While we did meet at church we don't consider this an overly religious ceremony. We will have communion during the ceremony where EVERYONE is welcome to eat. In fact we may be a little offended if you don't join us. The table is not Cross of Glory's table, not the Lutheran church's table, it is God's table and God said everyone is welcome!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code is business casual. Please don't wear white, that's for the bride!

Question

Will this be an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

No, feel free to take pictures whenever you want. But please don't get in the way of our photographer. Make sure to share your pics with us! But please have your phone on silent for the ceremony.

Question

Is there live music?

Answer

For our ceremony we will have some live music from great friends!

Question

Are we ever going to have the big wedding?

Answer

We sure hope so. We have moved the date again. With Covid still an issue and now that we are expecting, it's much safer for everyone to wait. Hopefully we can celebrate our anniversary and baby's birthday next year.

For all the days along the way
