This hot springs is not to be missed. It’s massive and deep. There are changing rooms and light concessions available. Check their website to ensure they’ll be open when you get there. Camping is free (as long as you avoid the official park service camping loop) and BEAUTIFUL. No cell service, so enjoy the escape!
Right on our doorstep! Pack yourself a picnic and enjoy this very special place. Beginner hikes include Taggart Lake, Jenny Lake (the longer loop, just to Jenny Falls, or a ferry ride), or String Lake. Moderate hikes: Phelps Lake. Difficult (but worth it): head up Cascade Canyon or to Amphitheater Lake.
