The Wedding Website of Jennifer Bose and Nathan Swanson

Jen Bose

Bride

Likes - museums, zoos, puppies, kittens, "old people" music*, anything Disney, exploring new places, scary movies, reading, early 2000s movies, tattoos, Halloween, giving sassy/sarcastic responses, and Nathan. Dislikes - pretentious food, turbulence, rude people, and not being able to reach stuff on the top shelf. *according to her loving fiance who apparently doesn't appreciate the timeless classics of David Bowie, Billy Joel, Elton John, and many many others.

Nathan Swanson

Groom

As you can see in the picture I’m a respectable gentleman who holds the lapel of his jacket when he takes a photograph. I am also ver- HOLY CRAP I’M GETTING MARRIED! In all seriousness, Jen is amazing, and I couldn’t be more excited for June third. I’m a little weird and pretty impulsive but I found the perfect balance in Jen and I am so very happy to be with her. If you’re reading this then I welcome you as friend or family, and look forward to seeing you when Jen and I start our life together.

Danielle Leber

Matron of Honor

Danielle met Jen 5 years ago at Association Management Center—and realized as soon as she did that the answer to the question, “Why’s it so hard to meet great people?” was because she hadn’t met that particular person yet. Although Danielle loves sarcasm and serial commas, she totally isn’t judging your grammar right now. If you don’t want to see a million pictures of her dog (and hear some major gushing about Gozer), please don’t even bring up the subject. Danielle recently married her husband, Adam, and can’t wait to welcome Nate and Jen into the newlywed club!

Chase Tincher

Best Man

I’ve known Swan for a little over half my life (You win Kristen, I see you trying to hide your age by using a fraction instead of years.) We've been so close that I’m sure it comes as a huge surprise to his mom that he's not marrying me. I can’t believe we’ve come this far. I still remember Swan as the weird kid with a red eye convulsing and quoting the Exorcist in the back of our freshman homeroom. We've shared so much of our lives together that it seems strange to think that that job belongs to someone else now. Though, I can’t think of anyone who would be better suited to the task than Jen. She is so kind, thoughtful, works everyday to build him up and make him the best man he can be. I see them growing and improving and think to myself “Way to go… I warmed him up for you.”

Kristina Werenski

Maid of Honor

Since I've met Jen (a decade ago) the outside world has put many labels on our relationship, some weirder than others but none more fitting than Sister. I couldn't be more blessed to be a part of her amazing journey and since she's met Nate, to finally say, not Happily Ever After but Happy Beginnings!

Matthew Kilbride

Groomsman

Nathan has been the brother that I always wanted and despite popular belief we're not blood related. Even though we share a lot of the same interests. He introduced me to nerd games and gaming nights. We both have a passion for food and cooking and it's always fun with him in the kitchen. We have been there for each other through the good and bad. From working together at Six Flags, to the greatest 4 card poker hand. The memories are endless. I'm so glad that Jen has won over that huge heart of his and sees how great of a guy Nate is! So excited for the day they tie the knot knowing they met on the day I married my best friend. 😁

Kristen Moorman

Bridesmaid

Having known Nathan for about two-thirds of her life, Kristen considers herself the sister that Nathan never signed up for, and subsequently can’t get rid of. This aberration is only intensified by her open adoration of Jen. Kristen once heard the Frank Lloyd Wright quote, “Give me the luxuries of life and I will willingly do without the necessities,” and took it to heart. A self-proclaimed lot of things, and general lady about town, she is a firm believer that most of the world’s problems can be solved with a sardonic comment and/or glitter. Like cheese, wine, whiskey, and Steve Carrell, amongst a great many of Kristen’s other favorite things, Jen and Nate’s marriage will surely be added to her list of loves that just get better with age. Cheers!

Adam Leber

Groomsman

Adam met Jen, and subsequently Nathan, through his wife, Danielle. He found their [then] new relationship to be “cute” and other closely related words. Over time, he watched as their relationship continued to change and grow, until eventually it became the beast you see today commonly known as the Swanifer. The Swanifer is curious, kind, and caring; it loves museums and animals. Adam has come to be great friends with the beast and looks forward to the formalization of these wonderful two individuals becoming one, slightly more awesome family (the math checks out, trust me) in front of the rest of the Animal Kingdom…of Brookfield! While Adam is unsure of what the future holds, he believes the Swanifer (and sidekick Gozer) have many great adventures to come and wishes them the best of luck!
