4:00 pm
Dress for comfort and warmth; this event is held outside in the forest. Stilettos not recommended.
The Welcome Dinner is held on Friday evening at the camp in the upper amphitheater. We will be having a good ol' American BBQ, followed by s'mores over a campfire. There will be live music to serenade you into the evening. Look for the Check-in Table at Sheid Hall when you arrive!
7:00 am - 10:00 am
Head on down to Scheid Hall (Main Hall) for some muffins and fruit to start your day. Alternatively, head into a nearby town for a proper full breakfast. Camp coffee and tea provided.
10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Dress comfortably! This is your time to explore the area.
Take a 10-minute drive out to the beach or go for a cruise along the California Coastal Highway 1. Hike through the redwoods on the OVY Camp property- there are over 100 acres to explore at the venue alone! Beautiful coastal towns Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz are not too far away, either. Or, hang around camp, grab some new friends and challenge them to various lawn games on the lower field near Redwood Grove. Be sure you're back and ready for a 3pm Ceremony.
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Forest formal- Look your best, with the forest in mind. The weather can be temperamental and we cannot predict if it will be a heatwave or a freezing fall. Make sure to bring layers in case of cooler weather. Overall the grounds are a mixture of grass, gravel, and forest trails. Please wear appropriate footwear. Heels are discouraged but if you are looking for some height wedges will work!
Ceremony time! Join us in the Redwood Grove near the lower field/ BBQ area where Steve and Caitlin will exchange vows in the US for the first time. Seating is limited, so get there early to grab a spot, or if you're able, stand for the ceremony and let someone else rest their legs!
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Grab a drink from the bar on the Sheid Hall Porch and try to find the person who traveled the farthest or shortest to get to the wedding. Ask questions. Meet new friends. Honestly, only the best people are here right now. Get to know them. Play BINGO. Beer and Wine can be self-serve (e.g. you can bring your own or grab one from the porch!). However, any hard liquor must be served by the licensed bartender.
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Buffet Style Dinner. Grab a plate and grab a seat - there will not be assigned seating. Make sure you tell us any dietary requirements!
7:15 pm - 11:00 pm
Drink some more and have a boogie!
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Hungover? Head on down to Scheid Hall (Main Hall) for a selection of grub to get your day started and ease your stomach. Or, drive to a nearby town for something more specific to quench your cravings.
10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Hang out with the Bride and Groom all day! The pool will be open from [1:00pm-4pm] for a swim. Grab a beer. Play some lawn games. Explore somewhere nearby. Take a nap. Go for a hike in the beautiful redwoods. Get some yummy grub from town, or cook your own food in the camp kitchen. A Taco Truck will arrive at 3pm- donations towards this meal will be taken via a QR code.
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Join us up in the Amphitheatre near the Cabins for some fireside jams, roasted marshmallows, and boozy hot chocolates. This is the last evening at camp, so enjoy the time with Caitlin and Steve while you can!
7:00 am - 10:00 am
Again, make your way to Scheid Hall for a light continental breakfast before you hit the road.
7:00 am - 12:00 pm
EVERYONE MUST BE OUT OF THEIR CABIN/CAMPSITE BY 11AM. Please leave your cabins and campsites exactly as you found them and free of litter and any cigarette butts. We are charged for every single cigarette butt left behind- please help us make sure there are none! Feeling kind? Help wander around the facilities and clean up any trash found. If you know something is a rental, help drop it down behind Scheid Hall. If there are any damages, let the Ambrosia/Sverchek families or planner know.
