Mount Lofty House is a historic, 5-star, boutique hotel in the Adelaide Hills, Australia. It was built in 1852 as a summer house and is known for luxury escapes. It features fine dining at Hardy's Verandah Restaurant and day spa services. Important to note: Unfortunately Mt Lofty House is an adults only retreat and thus families with children won't be able to stay overnight. Any of our guests wishing to stay at the Venue will be offered a 10% discount on the recommended retail rate. (Perfect for families, groups, or longer stays) To be closer to the venue, we recommend searching Airbnb or Stayz in the following areas: Crafers / Crafers West -Closest area to Mt Lofty House - Beautiful bushland and cottage‑style homes - Ideal for guests wanting to stay near the venue Stirling - Popular Adelaide Hills village with cafés, shops and parks - Central location with easy driving access - Good range of cottages, studios and family homes Hahndorf - Iconic Hills town with plenty of accommodation options - Great for groups and families - Slightly further out but very popular with visitors Tip: Searching “Adelaide Hills” will also show a wider range of holiday homes across nearby suburbs. If you are staying in Adelaide a little longer or prefer to be closer to the beach you could also explore AirBnb / Stayz around Suzy's old stomping ground, Glenelg / Brighton / Marion. There is easy access to the CBD via tram / train (check how far the nearest stop is when booking). Though these locations would be quite far from our wedding venue, you could potentially tram / train into the CBD and get on our shuttle bus.
