William Vanderbilt built this mansion as a 39th birthday gift to his wife Alva. This is Suzie’s favorite mansion in Newport! Take a self guided tour through this unbelievable mansion and be transformed back to the gilded age. Enjoy afternoon tea at the Chinese Tea House located on the property. We suggest making a reservation ahead of time for the tea house.

This is one of our favorite spots in Newport! They have fantastic espresso martinis and it’s the best spot to grab a hot dog, Mac and cheese and a drink. We usually stop here when we first get in town!
This restaurant and bar is delicious! There are four floors and the there are three different restaurants on each floor. The top floor is a speakeasy style bar!
