Flying into surrounding airports and booking a train ticket in advance will likely work out cheaper then flying directly into Newcastle Airport. It depends on flight prices so check both. Good surrounding options are: London, Manchester, & Edinburgh .

Up to you! The bus will depart from the train station at 3:30 pm on Friday. Newcastle is a fun city and I will link options for hotels and best things to do.
