Prague Recommendations

If you’re visiting Prague for the first time, we highly recommend spending a little time exploring the city. It’s one of the most beautiful places in Europe, and we feel incredibly lucky to call it home. We’ve created a Google Maps list with some of our favorite restaurants, cafés, bars, and spots around the city to make exploring easier. If you have a bit of time, here are a few places you shouldn’t miss:

Vinohrady & Jiriho z Podebrad (JZP)

Czech Republic

Our neighborhood and one of the best local areas in Prague. It’s full of great cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and a beautiful square with a farmers market on Wednesday – Saturday.

Riegrovy Sady

Our favorite park in Prague. Head here for the best sunset view over the city and grab a beer at the famous beer garden.

Naplavka

A lively riverside area where locals gather to sit by the water, grab a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. Perfect for riverside cafés, bars, and a relaxed walk along the Vltava.

Old Town & Charles Bridge

The historic heart of Prague. Wander through Old Town Square, see the Astronomical Clock, and walk across Charles Bridge to Kampa park for some of the city’s most iconic views.

Prague Castle & Mala Strana

Take a walk up to Prague Castle for stunning views over the city, then explore the charming streets of Mala Strana below.
