FAQs

Welcome to the info section! Everything you need to know as a guest is here.
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come to the wedding. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer it was just you.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, we really do! However, we respectfully request you leave your kiddos at home so we can celebrate our adult-only wedding with friends & family.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a cocktail dress code for our evening.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests should arrive around 2:30pm to 2:45pm at the venue. The ceremony will be starting at 3:00 pm.

Question

Do you have hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved room blocks for our guests at the Hampton Inn Oneonta. Give the name "Gutierrez Wedding" and the group code is IGW for the discount code. For more information, please see the Travel & Accommodations tab.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

If you are staying at the Hampton Inn Oneonta, then yes. A shuttle will arrive at the hotel around 2 pm and again at 2:30 pm to take guests to the venue for the ceremony and reception. Guests staying at other hotels or elsewhere are welcome to drive to Hampton Inn Oneonta to use the shuttle service! If you have more questions, check out the Travel & Accommodations page.

Question

Will there be any vegetarian and gluten free food options?

Answer

Yes! The caterer we have selected is Cowboy BBQ. They are very conscious of food sensitivities, allergies, and preferences. If you require a specific meal, please let Amanda (607-434-0557) or Ian (607-316-6267) know so they can communicate that to the caterer.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This just means we are asking our guests to have all phones and cameras put away for the ceremony portion of the evening. Why? Well, we’ve hired a professional to capture the most important moments of our lives, and we’d hate to have a person's phone blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you want! You can even send them to us so we can see them as well.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Please call Amanda at 607-434-0557 or Ian at 607-315-6267 if you have any additional questions!
