The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at Ridge Top Event Center in Otego, New York. The address is 215 Anderson Lane Otego, NY.

The Gutierrez family has always taken a yearly trip to Outer Banks in North Carolina since Ian and his sister, Alana, were kids. However in 2020 with Covid and the world shutting down, that trip was not possible. Luckily in 2021 Beth, Andy, and Alana got right to planning out the beloved beach vacation trip! So when we had initially shown up at the beachfront house, I had planned for a very relaxing week in the sun. On the second night of the trip, we all had a big dinner together to kick off the exciting week ahead! When Ian had mentioned he wanted to go to the beach after dinner, I didn't think anything of it… sure, I’ll go look at the ocean with a cocktail and chill out. The house we were staying at had binoculars so Ian brought them down so we could “try to see some dolphins”... again, I didn’t think anything of it. As we sat on the beach enjoying the ocean sounds and our drinks, Ian suddenly exclaimed “I think I see some dolphins!”, he took the binoculars and tried to look for the “dolphins”. Once he was finished he handed them to me so I could look. Of course, the binoculars were so out of focus I couldn't possibly see anything. While I was distracted, Ian got down on one knee to SURPRISE me with a proposal! He had to call out my name a few times because I was determined to see those dang dolphins, I eventually turned around and saw him on one knee and that's when he asked me to be his wife! A surprise beach proposal during a beautiful sunset was the most perfect way for him to ask me to be his forever family. And now we're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you! See you in Otego!
