Question

Is there a dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is formal (which is just another way of saying “Black Tie Optional”). Long dresses and tuxedos are more than welcome, but are not required. If you are a gent and renting a tux is a huge hassle, please feel free to wear a dark suit and tie. Ladies, whether you opt for a floor length gown or sequined jumpsuit, you should be ready to party! Additionally, it will be quite chilly in the room where the ceremony is taking place (it's where they actually make the wine, so they can't turn up the heat...), so make sure to hang on to your coat if you get cold easily. You'll be able to drop it off at a coat check during the cocktail hour!

Question

What time should I be there?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm. Please plan to arrive about 15-20 minutes early to allow yourself time to park and find a seat. And if you feel like coming even earlier, you can grab a glass of wine at Stone Tower Winery's gorgeous main bar.

Question

Is there parking at Stone Tower Winery?

Answer

Yep! There will be an attendant who can guide you to specific wedding guest parking.

Question

Help! I have a food allergy. What should I do?

Answer

Shoot us an email (susannah.eig@gmail.com) or text (301-204-1546). Either way, we want to know! A ruined night for you would be a ruined night for us, so please don't be shy!

Question

Is there somewhere nearby where I can get my hair/nails done?

Answer

Yes. Lansdowne Resort and Spa has a salon that offers blowouts and mani/pedis. At One Loudoun, a shopping area located a 5-minute ride from the Spring Hill Suites in Ashburn, there is a Flow Beauty Bar and a nail salon, Anthony Vince Nails.

Question

There are 3 DC-area airports. Which one should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport to Leesburg, VA is Dulles (IAD). Reagan National (DCA) is a little farther, but if you are planning to spend a night in DC before or after the wedding, it might be a good option for you. Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) is a bit of a trek, but often flights into BWI are cheaper, so if that suits your budget, go for it! Just keep in mind that the taxi will be a bit pricier than from DCA or IAD.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes. Unfortunately, our venue has a very strict limit, so in order to include our nearest and dearest, we have to restrict our guests to only those listed on the invitation.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There is a bus that will shuttle guests from the Lansdowne Resort and Spa and the SpringHill Suites to Stone Tower Winery at the beginning and end of the evening.
