FAQs

Even with the future a bit uncertain, we are wanting to tie-the-knot in 2021! We know how unique this world-time is in all of our lives – each of us with different and very specific life situations of varying health, age, family-ties, friend-ties and work-ties. With that in mind, we are simply moving forward with an open heart and planning with the information we have to date as it relates to Teton County and Grand Targhee Resort restrictions.
Question

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be on the Teewinot Lawn, golden hour will be on the deck next to the ceremony site and the dinner with reception to follow is in the Aspen Pavilion Tent.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

There are two indoor locations if the evening turns out to be a bit more romantic than originally planned :)!

Question

How about parking?

Answer

There are multiple parking lots at the base of the resort. It is free parking. If you plan to camp, it is $15 a night.

Question

What color should I wear?

Answer

Anything you feel best in! The gals in the wedding party will be in a light beige/champagne floor length dress and the groomsmen will be in suits.

Question

What is the lodging situation?

Answer

The resort has multiple locations for lodging on the resort property. It is advised to book within the resort due to driving time to and from the closest town.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love your kiddos, but we want our wedding to be your night off! We kindly ask the evening remains an adult-only event.

Question

Uber or Lyft available?

Answer

Not needed if you’re staying at the resort. Everything is with in walking distance of each other. Due to the remote location of the venue, ride share services are extremely limited.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer it was just you.

Question

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

The average high and low temperatures in the area are 66° and 32° respectively.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Mountain Chic! We would say feel young, wild, and free on the dressier side. Think flowy summer dresses and jumpsuits for the gals and relaxed dressed with optional sport coat for the dudes (with a western kick! if you want)
