Even with the future a bit uncertain, we are wanting to tie-the-knot in 2021! We know how unique this world-time is in all of our lives – each of us with different and very specific life situations of varying health, age, family-ties, friend-ties and work-ties. With that in mind, we are simply moving forward with an open heart and planning with the information we have to date as it relates to Teton County and Grand Targhee Resort restrictions.

Sus and Dan met freshman year in high school. Dan was in a band, (Blink 182 look alike) and Sus would go over and do homework while the band practiced (really Susie and her friend Catherine would just gossip and blush while the boys played). Anyways, they had a short fleeting "fling" that spring and wrote each other love letters over the summer into Sophomore year... They didn't rekindle their friendship until Junior year when Jack Bauer from the TV show 24 brought their hearts back together. Neither of them are entirely sure how or what reconnected them but they spent every Monday evening watching that show together that year. In the fall of senior year, Dan smooched Sus at a Blink182 concert (fitting right?) and they have been lip locking ever since! They supported each other while dating long distance for four years in college and helped each other through many challenges that were thrown their way during that time. Current day Dan and Sus spend time with close family and friends in the country's outdoor playgrounds, soaking in as much fresh air as they can. They squeeze a week's worth of activities into a one weekend adventure. They ski, bike, fly fish, hike, cookie bake (lolol), laugh, cry, thrive, and love their way through each day, month, and year. They are so very grateful for their united enthusiasm and for the strength the wilderness does for them individually and in their partnership. While they were in Montana last September, surrounded by golden aspens and a light snow fall, Dan asked Susie to marry him! She was completely surprised and it couldn't have been more perfect! They recently celebrated 10 years together in January, bought a house, and plan to start a family soon - WITH A PUPPY! We are so excited to have you be there as witness of our commitment to each other and we appreciate the support and love you have for us! Get ready for a wonderful weekend in the west!
