Please RSVP by July 20th! This is when we need our final headcount for catering.
If you want to help us fulfill our block, stay close to our welcome party spot, and save a few dollars, book a room at the Cambria Hotel! If you feel like splurging and you want to see some unique decor, these hotels are awesome (and stunning, honestly): Canopy by Hilton Portland Waterfont, The Press Hotel, Blind Tiger Portland, and Aloft Portland Downtown Waterfront.
After 8 years together, we’ve collected plenty of “stuff”—what we’d really love are memories. If you’d like to give a gift, we’d be so grateful for contributions to our honeymoon fund or other experiences we’re planning (see our “registry” tab). Thank you for helping us make new adventures together!
Our Friday night event is casual—wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! For the wedding on Saturday, we’d love to see everyone in formal attire: think suits and cocktail dresses. Just a heads up- the ceremony will be in a big field by the lighthouse, and it might get breezy, so we recommend bringing a coat or shawl. September temperatures here can range anywhere from 45 to 75 degrees. We’ll also have simple sandals available throughout the day if you’d like them- heels may sink into the grass at the ceremony, and we want everyone to be comfortable (and ready to dance!) at the reception.
While we love your kids- and we know they’re adorable, hilarious, and probably better dancers than we are- we’ve decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll join us for a well-deserved night off!
Please only bring a guest if your invitation says you have a plus one- we’re just trying to save you from having a mystery date in your wedding photos years from now. Thanks for understanding!
There is plenty of parking available at both locations, but you may need to pay a small fee. We will have shuttles going from the hotel to the ceremony and the reception, but as they are about 18 mins away from each other (not including shuttle wait time), this may not be the fastest option. We will add more details as we sort out some more logistics.
The only “event” is that the leaves on the trees are changing colors, and apparently everyone wants to flock up to Maine to see that, so many local establishments consider this peak tourism season.
