Sushma Kola
Bride
Sushma was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in the western suburbs. She spent her childhood years in dance classes and on the tennis court. She attended college and medical school at the University of Pittsburgh as part of the guaranteed medicine program. After developing a love of neuroscience, Sushma moved to Rochester, MN to complete her Neurology Residency at Mayo Clinic. She is currently doing fellowship in Movement Disorders at Northwestern University in Chicago. Sushma is an avid Indian and Latin dancer. In her free time, she enjoys interior design, mixing music, and beating Dan on the tennis court.
Daniel Davies
Groom
Dan was born and raised in Vermillion, SD. After realizing that he was far too short for basketball, he picked up baseball, voice, and percussion. He completed a combined undergraduate and medical degree program at the University of South Dakota. Following graduation, Dan finally chose to leave home and start Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is currently a Cardiology Fellow at Mayo Clinic and will be pursuing advanced training in cardiac multimodality imaging. Outside of medicine, Dan loves to play golf, cook, hike, and contemplate how to make Sushma stop talking.
