Brooklyn Botanic Garden
We love this place! We have gone countless times together and visit the Hellebores and Magnolia trees each spring. Once, we even saw the cutest bunny hopping around the Rose garden. We barely knew each other at that point and we really connected over the bunny! The fall is a great time to visit.
Hungry Ghost
We had our first date here! For once, Susanna wasn't late. And Jeremy hobbled in because he had run a half marathon the day before. If you love coffee, get a cup here!
Ample Hills Creamery Prospect Heights
Delicious ice cream! Perfect for a snack after walking through Prospect Park. Jeremy loves Baked/Unbaked and Snap, Mallow, Pop!

Knitters! Go here! Really nice people, beautiful yarn, fabric and ric rac in every color!
Upper Meadow and Nethermead
Gus' favorite part of Brooklyn! Dogs are allowed off-leash anywhere in the park before 9. Dogs running everywhere and dog owners chasing after them! If you are bringing your dog for the weekend, they'll love it here.
