HER VERSION: We met senior year in our seminary class. Randomly we were in the same grade but had never met each other before. Coincidentally we knew a lot of the same people and were surprised that we hadn't ever met. We somehow always ended up together on the seating chart. Our seminary teacher, Sister Waldron, later told us that she had a feeling that she should put us next to each other on the "randomized" seating chart. We had brief conversations but what really brought us together was the game "Among Us". Funny, we know, but we ended up really liking each other. The trimester soon ended and we didn't have any other classes together. Susie was nervous because she had never asked anyone to a dance before but she asked Dallin to the Sweethearts dance with a creative Shrek poster that said: "I'm head ogre heals for the idea of us at the dance". Dallin loved the poster and we went to the dance together and had a great night! Since then our relationship blossomed little by little into what it is today. We graduated and Susie went back to Denmark. Though hard, we did long-distance for a while. Dallin visited Susie in the summer and Susie visited Dallin in the winter. Dallin left on his mission in December of 2021 and Susie left in March of 2022. Dallin served in Texas, El Salvador and Belize for two years and Susie served in Germany for 18 months. We both knew that if we put the Lord first then everything would work out for our good. Susie made a surprise visit for Dallin's homecoming and our relationship turned out to be even better than before. We started winter semester at BYU-I together and quickly realized that we wanted to get married. Dallin proposed on valentines day and we have been planning our wedding ever since. We are so excited to start our eternity on September 7th! HIS VERSION: She said yes
