Recommendation to book at the Finest Resort

To ensure all guest have a stay at the resort. We recommend booking early with the promocode: MTWDEC24FPM. We do not have room blocks at the resort and is a first come first serve basis. There will be a $1 charge on the credit card as a security and will be refunded. The room will be fully charged on the credit card one month before arrival. The last day to cancel the room is 3PM December 3rd.

Airport Transfer

If you booked 3 nights or more, round trip transportation is included. Please contact Seasons Travel to schedule your transportation. You can only book one transfer per reservation. For example, if you have 2 rooms in your reservation, you will need to arrange transfer for all people staying in both rooms ○ Before departing, make sure you schedule your transfer by emailing transfers@seasonstours.com with your flight and hotel information ○ Have your transfer confirmation available when you arrive at the Cancun airport. ○ After clearing customs, you will exit to a hall, where you will see different booths. Please do not stop here for help. These are sales people that will try to pitch a timeshare to you. They DO NOT KNOW anything about your transportation arrangements, no matter what they say. ○ Walk all the way to the end of the hall and exit outside to find your driver. ○ Make sure you have your travel companions all together as you exit because once you leave the building you will not be allowed back in. ○ Your Season's driver will be wearing a green shirt and tan pants. ○ Double-check that your belongings have made it into the car before getting in. ○ The ride to the airport is usually about 30-40 minutes long, but if there’s traffic, it can be longer. ○ For the return trip, Seasons requires that everyone be picked up from Finest 4 hours before your flight time. Plan accordingly.

What to know about tipping:

Tipping at this resort is common. Although it is an all-inclusive resort, the staff works hard and appreciates any tips. They will remember you and take care of you! Drivers, Maids, Bellboys, and Restaurant/Bar servers are often tipped. Tip whatever you are comfortable with, there is no right or wrong. Make sure to bring small bills (1's, 5's, 10's), as larger bills may be difficult to break. It also may be difficult or expensive to take out cash when you get there so bring it with you from home.

The sun is much stronger in Mexico! ○ Bug Spray (the resort is surrounded by jungle so the mosquitos can be bad) ○ Tip Money (small bills, either USD or Pesos) ○ Yeti/insulated tumbler to keep your drink (or water) cold – the bar will fill this up for you! ○ Wedding Attire ○ Bathing Suits and cover-ups ○ Dinner Attire - See RestaurantDress Code ○ Sunglasses (and maybe a backup pair) ○ Sun Hat ○ Beach bag - to carry your belongings to the pool or beach ○ Straws, if you use them – The resort does not put straws in any drinks for environmental reasons ○ Aloe (in case you do not heed the sunscreen warning) ○ Medications (pain killer, imodium, antihistamine, itch cream, etc.) Forget Something? There is a gift shop inside the resort, but prices will be outrageous ($30 for one bottle of sunscreen). There is also a convenience store, La Amada Express, about a 5-minute walk from Finest. We recommend that you pack what you need, but if you do end up needing something, prices are pretty reasonable there.

Resort Dress Code FYI

Each restaurant at Finest has a different dress code for dinner service – some are more fancy than others! You can find this information on the Excellence app or on the Finest website. The fancier restaurants do require men to wear long pants (guys - grab your linen!) and a collared shirt, and some restaurants do not allow flip flops. They can be strict about this.
